Launching Google+ may have disputed the rumors that google is looking into buying Twitter, but that does not mean that such is actually the end of these possibilities.

For one, although Google had attracted more than25 million users in August, Twitter still has more, with a record of 300 million in May. Reason two pertains to relevance.

The social web is slowly turned into a site for product recommendations and others. This is because using the usual search engines just sometimes proves to be inefficient when trying to look for such information.

Google+ had made real-time search results for this case but Twitter being a social web modelled after such advertising scenario still takes the lead in the game.

Two questions however arise from this event. First, would this benefit Twitter? Well the action can cut costs and Twitterr will surely benefit from Google’s infrastructure.

The $8 billion to $10 billion price Google may offer, would make Twitter’s bank balance robust. Integrations of Google’s services like Google Talk and Gmail will make Twitter more useful and more popular as well.

But any deal may be scrutinized by anti-trust regulators and the rivals will probably react if Google will actually attempt to get into social search too, as it is already king of the web search.

Second, what can Goolgle really possibly do to Twitter? It might ruin Twitter as it is difficult to integrate the constructs of two entirely different companies.

If the integration goes bad, it may harm the successful real-time chat service that made Twitter a favourite among social search users.

Other than Google, are there any potential Twitter buyer just incase Twitter decided to sell? Well yes, but the potential buyers already have access to Twitter.

Microsoft for example has just renewed its Twitter search deal for Bing, while Apple has extensive Twitter integration in iOS 5.

Amazon too already uses the service for its Kindle users’ book ratings while and eBay isn’t as keen on buying another communications firm after letting go of Skype.

Given such scenario, and the price tag of $10 million, the best that Google can actually do is either bring back the real-time search feature I had that included Twitter’s “firehose” of content or just buy access to the social web instead of reaching for Twitter ownership.

Many of us have thought that as technology is being integrated into the big business industries and to almost every institution, those IT professionals are going to have the greater edge than any other profession.

However, as the years have past, we have come to realize that there is a problem in this presumption.

A thirteen year old boy of the state of New York has won the 2011 Young Naturalist Award in his Oak Tree inspired Solar Array.

Adian Dwyer is a 7th grader who proposes that the Fibonacci sequence which can be found in the arrangement of oak tree leaves can be used as a basis in creating new design of solar panels.

The oak tree design solar panel was found to increase the energy efficiency from 20% to 50%.

According to Dwyer’s essay which was posted at the website of Young Naturalist Award, he was enjoying a nature trip when his attention was caught by how the branches of oak trees are arranged in a spiral pattern.

He wondered why the trees have that pattern and ask what could be the purpose of such.

Learning the mathematical pattern found throughout the nature called as the Fibonacci sequence, he then tested it with the spiral pattern of oak tree branches.

After that, he found out that the pattern adhered to the sequence.

This led him to hypothesize that the purpose of those spiral pattern has something to do with the process of photosynthesis in the trees.

In order to test his hypothesis, he made a miniature oak tree shaped solar array. And a result, his design generated fifty percent more power than the traditional solar power design.

This is due to the various angles of the array that effectively capture the light of the sun.

This idea is unique for a normal teenager like Dwyer. No wonder, he got the award as a young naturalist.

The mobile world is now circulated with rumors about Sony Ericsson’s plan to work on an almost 5 inches 3D smartphone.

The said smartphone is going to have the glasses -free 4.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels and a dual core Snapdragon processor.

These features although leaked are extremely going beyond the normal 3D smartphones we have today.

If the said resolution could be true, then we can say that the distinction between a tablet and a smartphone is no longer applicable.

Why? It’s because 1280×720 pixels is the standard resolution for a normal 13 inches laptop screen, but if we will transfer this huge resolution onto a 4.7 screen then we will be expecting an ultimately sharp and clear images.

No wonder, Sony Ericsson remains in the top global mobile phone industry.

They have really served the worldwide communication market with a very high-end technology such as this.

Although, the sources of these rumors are not yet confirmed, I think that this has already reached the ears of Sony Ericsson’s competitors.

This recent move is not unusual for WordPress to make, as it is the most popular content management system (CMS) in use on the internet today.

Aside from its web template system, WordPress has given the users a lot of ease in maintaining their own site.

However, Keen Studios, the developer of the said WordPress app says that this requires the plug-in ‘WPre’ for some of its functionality.

That’s why they are now working hard to get the release of this blogging app for WebOS in BETA as soon as possible. And that’s good news for me as I can’t wait to see and try this latest blogging app. I hope that they can really make it through their deadline.

Meanwhile, the mobile operating system based on Linux Kernel, WebOS, has long been featured on several devices since it was acquired by Hewlett Packard (HP).

But due to the recent announcement of HP in discontinuing the production of WebOS related hardware devices, it is unclear whether we can enjoy the newly developed app in our mobiles.

Also, there are no official statements from HP whether they are going to consider the licensing of WebOS to other manufacturers.

Recently, we were hanging around discussing forums about the rumors on the speculated product shift that Apple is going to propose before the official release of the next gen iphone, the iPhone 5.

We have also known lately that the said device is going to have a discounted price of which almost half the price of the current iPhone 4.

Being both excited and curious on the said discounted device, the AppleInsider website surprisingly have posted leaked photos of iPhone 4S.

Due to this, many are becoming skeptical and opinionated about the device.

Based from the photos you can see, it is obvious that the said iPhone 4S is quite similar to the current version of iPhone.

But we have told that the device of course is going to have changes to at least put it in the level of its price and one of the changes that we also have known is the change from glass to plastic front and back cover of the iPhone.

However, there is no stable source for that speculation.

But the 9to5Mac.com site is suggesting that this upcoming discounted device have several issues of which the iPhone fans must be critical about.

First is that the device is running Cydia that causes jailbroken phones to have void warranties. Second, the white speaker grille and the antenna that seemed to be problematic with the current iPhone. Third is the said changes from glass to plastic front and back cover of the iPhone.

Nevertheless, we have seen no problems with jailbroken phones as it has been granted by the state that jailbroken phones are not illegal, though admittedly there are risks for doing so.

On the other hand, we think that Apple is capable in initiating solutions to the problems on antenna and speaker grilles.

And we don’t also think that Apple will resort to plastic covers in order to meet the standards of their low-cost phone. So, we will go for the metal covers like the one they have with the original iPhones.

No wonder, two weeks after its official launching, it already gathered 20 million users.

This number signals that more and more users are drawing themselves to the new social networking site owned by the search giant.

While there can be varied reasons for every user to eagerly try or switch to this new site, still the heaviest and most plain reason is that they are getting away from the swarming games and spam posts from their previous social site.

However, with the recent confirmation of Google+ games, some users are now in a mode of disappointment.

One enthusiast of social networking from PhonesReview has expressed his discontent on this matter by saying that Google+ is already great with its clean looks and professional people.

It would be better if they can manage to keep the gaming in a different area and separate it from main social networking site.
