UltraBooks or Ultra-thin and Light Notebooks are really popular, and it isn’t hard to see why…

Thin and light notebooks will change today’s old notebooks. Here are the Top reasons why ultra notebooks will take over the old version of notebooks.

Ultrabooks are Intel’s two-pronged attempt to simultaneously promote the traditional notebook in the face of devices like the iPad, while preventing the further commoditization of its own products.

While linked, the two prongs are distinct enough to deserve individual examination.

Everywhere you go Wi-Fi is present, many workplaces are installing Wi-Fi so that many people can have wireless access to information.

Ports for accessibility are not needed in Ultrabooks. A majority of the things done through the ports of laptops, like storage and printer access, can be done over the air, and this feature can be seen in ultrabooks.

However, if there is really a need for a port, ultrabooks also have universal ports which would take in a USB 3G modem, a camera memory card, and others.

Work can be done anywhere using the Ultrabooks, with their full multitasking OS and real keyboards. Of course, since they’re light you won’t have hesitations in taking them with you everywhere.

DVD drives are instinct in the ultrabook language. No one uses DVD drives much these days, since everything goes through the ports.

The only purpose of a DVD drive is for installing software, but even this will soon be rare as online apps stores are much common now.

Ultrabooks can give stunning speed performance through the SSD. This is because SSD cuts efficiently program loading and booting time.

Ultrabooks may indicate user serviceability as unessential. Swapping parts like RAM and the hard dive may not exactly be present in Ultrabooks, but that doesn’t matter, afterall, notebooks are becoming so cheap now that people can always buy a new one in two or three years.

The resume from sleep system is fast in Ultrabooks. Thanks to Intel, Ultrabooks have this Rapid Start Technology which makes resume time instant even if its batter has already run out.

They are just thin and light, thus are easy to bring.

The price for Ultrabooks right now maybe costly but tech prices go down in just a short time. It won’t be long when Ultrabooks with its SSD storage will eventually become cheap that buying a laptop over the Ultrabooks would be an impractical idea.

Mac OS X Lion VS Windows:

Both Apple and Microsoft have a good system of Architecture, However they may differ on rapid improvements in its software.

These are 10 features of Apple Mac OS X 10.7 or Lion:

1. AirDrop
With the AirDrop screen, you can now transfer your files between two Mac users. Its either Wi-fi triangulation technology to get the physical positions of Mac’s computers or you can have peer-to-peer network in which you can transfer files directly.

2. Resume
Lion will take you to the next level of Resume, It is very important to know the usefulness of the Resume because it will simply bring you to the last work you quit.

3. Autosave
The Autosave feature of Apple will surely saved your good files, it will automatically saved your work and make multiple duplicate versions. Apple’s Time Machine Backup has a capacity of restoring file to a whole version from your previous version of files.

4. Virtual desktops
This one is very practical, due to some improvements Lion can now swipe between desktops through multi-touch gesture. There are no delays because of silky smooth horizontal scroll.

5. Better app switching
The new Misson Control feature in Lion is an upgraded version of Expose. Compared to window’s it is more revolutionized.

6. iCloud
Let the iCloud sync do the tasks, you don’t need to have a USB or a reader to transfer your taken photos in your iPod. You can transfer it easily then it will automatically appear in you Mac without fuss.

7. Remote wipe
You are now safe from the identity theft. You can use iCloud to log in to your account and have a request to erase the encryption keys of the Mac.

8. App store
By using iTunes store credit you can now purchased software that can be reinstalled 10x to other Macs. There is no need of serial numbers. The reinstallation is simple in just a one click away. This is one of the common problems of the in buying software because you need to be demonstrated before you can actually install the software.

9. Price
There a big discrepancies in terms of price. You will cost US$199.99 per PC to have a full version of Windows 7. Whereas, Lion costs U$29.99, the good news is that you can reinstall the software up to 10 Macs.

Apple’s iPad 2 awed several techno interested consumers when it was first released in March.

It just seemed impossible to have something light and thin, packed with a lot of apps and software that highly reflect extensive technology.

But Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 showcased during Google I/O conference surpassed iPad 2 in its dimension.

Everyone thought that Galaxy Tab 10.1 would be the thinnest tablet for some time, unfortunately for Samsung, Toshiba showed them that they can do even better with the new Toshiba AT200 tablet.

To really compare the three and decide which among them is the best.

It may perhaps be better to actually take a look beyond their thin dimensions and consider as well their weights and features in detail.

To start with, all three tablets have dual-core processors and 10.1 displays and it might just be difficult to see which is more advantageous or not. The following detailed descriptions account for a comparison among the three tablets.

iPad 2 measures 241.2 x 185.7 x8.8 mm. Its’ WiFi model weighs around 601 grams while its’ WiFi + 3G model weighs about 613 grams.

Clearly, the newer iPad model emphasizes the fact Apple has leapt widely from its last iPad design.

The thin quality seemed just so appealing to users that Samsung decided to also make their tablet design more thinner than iPad 2.

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1, being thinner than iPad 2 is of course lighter in weight, being about 4 to 5 % lighter than iPad 2.

A plus factor is the idea that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 10.1 already has both WiFi and 3G connectivity, whereas in iPad 2, the consumer would still need to choose which between the WiFi version and WiFi and 3G version would they avail.

Although the Galaxy tab is relatively longer than iPad 2 with a length of 256.7 mm, it still has some advantage over iPad 2 because it’s 0.2mm lesser in its width, the actual width being 175.3 mm only.

But Samsung probably did not expect that another much thinner tablet might just take away their bragging rights from them.

As for the moment, Toshiba is king of the tablet market. Its’ AT200 model is not only thinner than the other two tablets but is rather technically smaller and lighter than the two in almost every way.

Measuring just about 256 x 176 x 7.7 mm and weighing just 558 grams, Toshiba’s AT200 is 0.9 mm thinner than Galaxy Tab 10.1 and 1.1 mm thinner than iPad 2.

Considering this, it does not seem to matter that it is 0.7 mm wider than the Galaxy Tab 10.1. The depth dimension definitely rules over width and length.

Although thin does not mean best, it is just interesting to note how technology has made these gadgets possible.

And Apple, with its strong reputation for making incredible technology might have a run for its money, what with Samsung and Toshiba only a very few steps behind it in the technology world.

Maybe you’d like to think about this and give your perspectives.

Do you think Apple’s next tablet would be better in the thin department than Toshiba’s AT200? And what do these latest gadgets tell people about the gadgets’ build strength? Your opinions are always welcome.

Here are 4 top best picks for android apps you should find good:

During our previous discussions we have given you the list of best apps for the month of August, and today as we have come to a new month – September, we will not forget to give you the four best apps for your Android phones:

1. Widget Locker Lock screen:

This app allows you to replace anything from your lock screen. So far, this is one of the best featured app this month, not only due to convenience, but also due to the security it provide.

Firstly, you can drag and drop any widgets you like to interact in your lock screen, which means that you can have a quick glance of information without having to spend too much time in clicking, dragging and dropping.

Secondly is that, this lock screen app can help you avoid any accidental interactions. It is available in Android Market at $1.89.

2. Quota:

This Android app is developed by South Freo. Apparently, this app offers tracking of your balances like the phone, internet, Skype, currency, stock values, Fly Buys, Everyday rewards and CineBuzz.

3. SMS Scheduler:

This app is totally free by the lylynx.com. This is very useful in scheduling SMS.

Like for example you have an important message for your employee or a classmate, but the time is very unreasonable, so you just have to type the message in your phone and set the message to be sent at the specific time you want that message to be received by the recipient.

Add to that, the SMS scheduler write the SMS to the system database, that makes it greater than other scheduling apps.

4. Titanium Media Sync:

This is very cool. You can have a backup of all your apps, photos, videos and downloads right into your drop box.

So, if you are bored and tired of your current apps, don’t waste time in extending your patience with the old apps. Add color and life to your smartphone by adding these highly recommended Android apps.

The newest gaming motherboard comes in Shuttle-sx58h7 Pro. This one perfectly matches to the hardcore gamers who want to see the revival of high-end gaming PC builds in the previous models.

This unit is described as a bare-bone system which means that you need to purchase and install CPU, GPU and RAM drives in order to make the hardcore machine running in superb overclocking.

This bare-bone system features the Intel x58 + ICH10R for LGA1366, Support Intel Core i7 series CPU with I.C.E technology CPU heat-pipe that is overwhelming in preventing overheat.

It also has DDR3 DIMM slots which has 4GB per DIMM that can be expanded up to 16GB with a triple support channel DDR3 1066/1333/1600(OC)MHz.

Recently,we enjoyed the collection of Nintendo’s 3DS mini-games. Developers have offered its users with loads full of games.

And today, Bandai one of the developers is offering another mini-game. Apparently, these mini-games are sports-based just like its name suggests, Dual Pen Sports.

Dual Pen Sports, recommends you to use your stylus pens in playing various sports games such as archery, baseball, basketball, boxing, skiing and para-gliding.

Ideally, the Dual Pen Sports requires the use of the two pens in playing the game. But actually, you can play it even with one pen. We think the gimmick of using dual pen in playing the sports game is not necessary.

On the other hand, let’s talk about the games. Each sport in this game console is unique yet very simple to play. Using the two stylus pens, you can move in each corresponding use of the stick.

Like for example in basketball game, one pen is use solely to jump, whereas the other pen is use to shoot.

Although there is a wide variety of games to choose from in this mini-games sports, we still say that everything about these games are very simple and basic that may lead to possible ennui.

Furthermore, the graphics and the depth that we are looking for in every home video consoles seem to be absent in this mini-games. In other words, this game is more appealing to little children and for a hardcore gamer.

So, we are looking forward for the attention of the developers in this feedback. The dual pen games may not be that popular for now, but we’re hoping for updates in the next coming months.

Motorola Droid3 and Samsung Galaxy S2 are two of the hottest talk-about handsets nowadays. Many fans of each phone are yelling for its official coming. For that reason, curiosity pushes us to review and compare the two products.

We will compare these two phones as to their recorded benchmarks, possible performances and tiered data plans.

Some Benchmarks:
Apparently, for Motorola Droid3, its recorded benchmark had only hit under 2500, of which surpassed the minimum 2000 Quadrant benchmark. Although it got a passing rate, Droid Life has commented that this dual-core processor must have worked greater.

Meanwhile, Samsung Galaxy S2 is very impressive in each benchmark tests. The results show that from under 4,000 benchmarks it pulled off to over 4,500. Basically, from this category, Samsung Galaxy S2 is greater than the Droid 3.

As to performance:
Speaking of functionality and operational conditions of these phones, we cannot say anything yet because the real test of it will be operated by the users themselves.

As of this moment, we will have to wait and hear from the readers on their comments about the handsets that they have just pre-ordered. But we at PR believe that Galaxy S2 will still have the greater performance.

As to data plans:
For most of us, we have seen the tiered data plans of Motorola Droid3 to Verizon as a disadvantage because the handset will be tied up to one carrier.

We have no idea as to how long will it take to stick to the data plan, but this handset is expected to hit the market together with Galaxy S2 and other handsets on Big Red.
