NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 and GT 450 Will Release Soon: NVIDIA is planning additional models GeForce graphics card 400. This time the models are to be called the GT 430 and GT 450(We only know that the GT 450 is based on the NVIDIA GF106 processor). As for the GeForce GT 430, it’s CPU runs at a frequency of 700 MHz. It is not yet known how many cores.

As for its memory, it will run at 900MHz with a 128-bit memory interface. Being a perfect fit for PCI 2.0 x16 slots, the package itself measures a pretty diminutive 29mm x 29mm alongside 973 PFCBGA balls. While it has an internal device name of 0×0DE1.

It’s still unknown whether the GeForce GT 430 will be available in retail and OEM channels only? So we expect an official announcement in the coming weeks.

New Buffalo DriveStation HDDs Announced: The company Buffalo Technology has announced renewal of the family of external disk storage DriveStation. List of new products includes single-disk model DriveStation Axis, double-disk DriveStation Duo and model DriveStation Quad, a four-HDD. These HDDs are focusing on individual users and small offices.

The youngest model, DriveStation Axis will be available in September. It will be available in three variants of: 1 TB ($105), 1.5 TB ($125) and 2 TB ($170). This Housing unit provides horizontal and vertical installation. The kit includes software for backup and USB port to connect to a PC.

Next, the DriveStation Duo Hard disk drives focusing Houses will also start to ship next month. It features USB 2.0 and eSATA, and can be configured in a RAID 0 or RAID 1. Pricewise, the 2TB model is $275, and 4TB model will cost $455.

Third, the big brother model of the family — DriveStation Quad — is equipped with active cooling, and a list of supported configurations include RAID 0, 5 and 10, its also suports USB 2.0 and eSATA . Pricewise, the 4TB is equal to $625, for modification of the maximum size – 8 TB – will have to pay $1135. This DriveStation Quad will begin to ship before the end of this month.

Eking launched new tablet E5 UMPC. The Eking E5 UMPC tablet is individual for its features of tilting and sliding of its 5 inch display screen.

Specs wise, this guy is boasting a 5-inch WSVGA (1,024 x 600) Sharp-sourced display that tilts and slides back. Eking decided its price for $800 but don’t expect it to ship outside of China anytime soon.

ioSafe today announced the availability of the SoloPRO. The SoloPRO is the business-class edition of the award-winning Solo external hard drive and is available in USB 3.0 and eSATA/USB 2.0 formats, providing full support for Windows, Linux servers, and desktop operating systems.

Measuring 5 inches by 7.1 inches by 11 inches and weighing 15 pounds, the IoSafe SoloPro is about as serious as a single-volume external hard drive can be when it comes to physical size and ruggedness. For comparison, the Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex Desk, one of the biggest conventional desktop single-volume external hard drives, weighs about 2 pounds.

The ioSafe has been making headlines being able to hang on to its data in the face of many natural disasters. Extremes of fire and flood are tolerated by the new ioSafe SoloPRO USB drive, just like its predecessors. ioSafe cites SoloPRO’s rugged disaster proof design allow the drive to withstand 1550ºC fire for up to 30 minutes or to survive water submersion at a depth of 10 feet for up to days.

The SoloPro offers a much larger storage space, up to 2TB, and most importantly, it’s the first external hard drive from IoSafe that supports USB 3.0. If your computer doesn’t support USB 3.0 yet, you can also opt for an eSATA or just use it with USB 2.0. As for the performance numbers themselves, ioSafe points at transfer speeds of up to 100 MB/s, which is three to four times faster than USB 2.0.

Shuttle has launched the XS35 Slim PC small form factor PC into major retailers in North America.

Shuttle may have delayed the launch in order to make some design modifications, but seems to have made up for this by releasing, in the US, three models instead of just one.

Available in three configurations, the new XS35 is only 1.5 inches thick and features a passively cooled fanless design. The entry “Made for Everyday” model is based on an Intel Atom D510 CPU and Intel GMA 3150 graphics, 1GB of memory, 160GB hard drive and an optional optical drive.

Meanwhile, media users also get Atom D510 CPU and GMA 3150 graphics card, but 2GB RAM, a slim DVD burner, and a 320GB hard drive for their buck.

The Shuttle X35 GT “Made for HD” adds a Blu-ray drive and Nvidia ION graphics with 1080p HDMI output.

The three options are ready to ship from retailers in both the US and Canada. They cost a very tempting $240 for the basic model, $280 for the media configuration, and $380 for the XS35 GT. Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon.

Microsoft could be about to launch a competitor to Apple’s Magic Trackpad device, called the Arc Touch Mouse.

The new device is expected to be released in September and will have a retail price of just under $70, that’s the same as the Magic Mouse and the new Magic Trackpad. However, the new Microsoft device will only be in its basic form from the start, with multitouch functionality coming at a later update.

Neowin has heard from an insider source of their own that Microsoft plan to launch the Arc Touch Mouse in September 2010, though a specific timeframe within that month is unknown.  The Arc Touch Mouse’s functionality is tipped to initially launch with single-touch functionality only, though a multitouch upgrade seems likely.

Details of the Arc Touch Mouse began surfacing in early July as several European retailers began publishing listings for a “Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse”.

The previously announced 12-core Mac Pro is now available in Apple’s online store and retail outlets. Early Monday morning, Apple took down its online store down. A few minutes later, the site popped back up listing 12-core option.

That base model sports two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon processors, 6GB of RAM in six 1GB DIMMs, a 1TB hard drive, an 18x double-layer SuperDrive, and an ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory. That’s in addition to the Mac Pro’s usual niceties, such as 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless networking, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, and more.

Configuration is one area where Apple’s 12-core Mac Pro is especially impressive. Customers can update the processor from the 2.66GHz model to a 2.93GHz version. They can also include up to 32GB of RAM, add a RAID card, and install several more hard drives. Given the power of the system, it might also be a good idea to update the computer’s graphics cards to the dual ATI Radeon HD 5770 option. For those who want a single card, the ATI Radeon HD 5870 is also available.

The 12-core configuration of the Mac Pro starts at $4999(Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon); customers can also upgrade to a faster pair of 2.93GHz 6-Core processors as a customize-to-order option, for an additional $1200.
