The Japanese electronics manufacturer Fujitsu is all set to show off their “world’s first truly wireless display” in the CeBIT 2011 event this week. The new monitor will be functioning on different wireless technologies.

The magneto-induction technology would help the monitors to work in specially designed hotspots by just placing the monitor on it. The inductive chargers can make it bigger and increase the energy output so that it can fit the base of monitor and power it at the same time.

The wireless USB technology is used to acquire data to show on the screen by monitors, which has a range of 10 meters.

There has been no news about the price or availability of monitors in the market. It is expected to boom the desktops again.Source

Have been thinking of using Verizon 4G LTE dongle with your Mac but no support? Then According to PhoneScoop Verizon has confirmed that the 4G LTE dongles from Verizon will support Mac in February. The two modems, one from LTE and one from Pantech, caused a stir when they launched with support only for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. Pantech UML290 owners can bide their time with a workaround, but LG VL600 users will have to wait to get an update from Verizon. Speaking of the LG VL600, owners of this 4G USB modem had a bit of false alarm today when they received an unexpected software updating. But it was only included some performance improvement. So next update surely bring drivers to support Mac with the dongles.

What data plan do you expect from Verizon when you buy an iPhone 4? I hope you need something exciting and more reasonable plan. So is Verizon to keep unlimited data plan for iPhone. According to reports, the company’s COO, Lowell McAdam, has confirmed that there will be a $30 unlimited data plan available for the device.

But the Company didn’t mention any info related to $15, 150MB monthly data plan according to engadget but CNET reports that the company confirmed that the plan will no longer be available for Smartphone.

“I’m not going to shoot myself in the foot,” he said. “Not offering an unlimited plan would put up a barrier for customers who might otherwise switch from AT&T.”

“We are giving you as much guidance as we can,” said Verizon CEO Ivan Seidenberg, during a question and answer session at the conference. “There are lots of unknowns. We think we know how many people will switch from AT&T to us. But we don’t know. We do believe our brand and network will drive a lot of people.”

Note that the plan is also reported as not permanent but temporary, it may be just promotional plan for iPhone to attract the attention of people.Verizon’s iPhone 4 will be available for pre-order from February 3 and will start shipping on February 10.

The Linksys E4200 doesn’t offer 450Mbps throughput on the 2.4GHz band, it should still be quite the video streaming powerhouse. The E-4200 also sports a new USB feature that makes it easy to add external storage to the network, the built-in UPnP Media server functionality enabling users to easily share files across their entire home network.

Simon Fleming-Wood, vice president of marketing, Cisco Consumer Products said that “Cisco’s Linksys line continues to lead the industry with innovative technology for the growing number of wireless-enabled homes.”

“The new Linksys E4200 router is ideal for home entertainment enthusiasts who want to equip their homes with the latest wireless technology or anyone who wants the reassurance of outfitting their home with the best router on the market today,” Mr. Fleming-Wood added.

In addition, The E4200 comes with technology similar to that seen in other routers, which allows users to prioritize bandwidth for movies, voice etc… To keep everyone connected, it has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, six antennas, and several internal and external signal amplifiers to provide coverage for even the most palatial of estates.

Well-designed Linksys E4200 wireless router goes on sale for $179.99 and now available at Best Buy. Click Here to Buy Linksys E4200 wireless router from Amazon.

Widely expected Verizon 4G LTE Smartphone HTC Thunderbolt has been announced at CES 2011, Peter Chou, CEO of HTC, took the stage during Verizon Wireless’ CES press conference and unveiled the new Android-powered Thunderbolt. The Verizon branded 4.3 inch phone making full use of Big Red’s 4G LTE network and runs on the latest generation of the Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz. Chou confessed to using the Thunderbolt as his primary device and claimed it was “blazing fast’.

The Thunderbolt also features preloaded Skype to use with the smartphone’s 1.3 megapixel, front-facing camera. Users can remain connected to Skype to receive video chat calls at all times over the 4G LTE network.

Its wireless chipset is designed to allow this smartphone to switch seamlessly between Verizon’s 3G network and the 4G LTE network as it comes online in the coming months.

Equipped with 768 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage, the ThunderBolt will run Google’s Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) with HTC’s Sense overlay. Other features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a digital compass, GPS, a proximity sensor, a G-sensor, and a microSD card slot with an included 32 GB card.

HTC Thunderbolt is one of two big announcements for Verizon smartphones, which will be available by mid of 2011. It’s an HTC phone, so you get all the sweetness of the updated HTC Sense 2.0 with Fast Boot and some new features.

Samsung officially announced its upadated version of GalaxyTab, the Tablet has got 4G enabled now.it’s realy unexpected that Samsung would announce its 4G LTE GalaxyTab. This latest tablet is a Verizon device, since it touts a built-in LTE modem while maintaining compatibility for Verizon’s existing 3G network. Samsung has upgraded the rear-facing camera from 3 to 5 megapixels. The CPU gets a slight speed boost, from 1GHz to 1.2GHz, using the same Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. Price and the release date of the device hasn’t been mentioned while announcing. The Tablet will be available via Verizon; I think we won’t have to wait for a long time for the release as it’s from Verizon.

The hardware specifications of this device include Wi-Fi support, a 1 GHz dual-core processor and 1 GB of RAM, as well as the new BlackBerry Tablet OS. The tablet PC would offer support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Adobe Mobile AIR and HTML-5 for an uncompromised web experience, all at 4G speeds.

“RIM believes a significant portion of the tablet market will want a higher performing, multitasking, professional-grade tablet and that is why we chose to design the BlackBerry PlayBook for premium performance with a powerful dual-core processor and multitasking OS. Together with Sprint, we are now building on that performance advantage with 4G and providing an unparalleled mobile experience for users,” said Mike Lazaridis, President and Co-CEO at Research In Motion.

Sprint 4G is currently available in 71 markets2 across the country, including Atlanta, San Francisco, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and New York City. Sprint first launched 4G in Baltimore in September 2008 and continues to build it’s 4G service for consumers and business users across the country. For more information, visit www.sprint.com/4G.

“This tablet is a great example of Sprint’s strong partnership with RIM in continuing to bring customers powerful devices to enhance their mobility. We are confident the BlackBerry 4G Playbook from Sprint will be one of the most anticipated tablets in 2011.”

PlayBook using WWAN, suggesting other 3G/4G models will debut later in the year, the Sprint PlayBook 4G won’t be priced till the release.
