CISCO has unleashed its new line of Linksys wireless routers named “Linksys E4200”, Cisco’s new dual-band 802.11n rig enters a high-end market segment currently occupied by the TRENDnet TEW-692GR. Both routers offers 3×3 Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) configuration for a max throughput of 450Mbps on the 5GHz band, also includes Cisco Connect, an spontaneous software application that helps home users set up and manage their home wireless network with ease.

The Linksys E4200 doesn’t offer 450Mbps throughput on the 2.4GHz band, it should still be quite the video streaming powerhouse. The E-4200 also sports a new USB feature that makes it easy to add external storage to the network, the built-in UPnP Media server functionality enabling users to easily share files across their entire home network.

Simon Fleming-Wood, vice president of marketing, Cisco Consumer Products said that “Cisco’s Linksys line continues to lead the industry with innovative technology for the growing number of wireless-enabled homes.”

“The new Linksys E4200 router is ideal for home entertainment enthusiasts who want to equip their homes with the latest wireless technology or anyone who wants the reassurance of outfitting their home with the best router on the market today,” Mr. Fleming-Wood added.

In addition, The E4200 comes with technology similar to that seen in other routers, which allows users to prioritize bandwidth for movies, voice etc… To keep everyone connected, it has 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports, six antennas, and several internal and external signal amplifiers to provide coverage for even the most palatial of estates.

Well-designed Linksys E4200 wireless router goes on sale for $179.99 and now available at Best Buy. Click Here to Buy Linksys E4200 wireless router from Amazon.

Verizon is launching their new 4G LTE service tomorrow. They are announcing 2 new USB 3G/4G Modems. Here is what we know about them so far:

LG VL600 Features:

4G LTE / CDMA Only – Not Global

Fixed USB connector

Support NDIS/LAN adapter

USB Extension Cable

External antenna port

VZAM in the box

NOT Mac OS X compatible at launch

GPS not supported at launch

SIM Card Slot – under back cover

Pantech UML290 Features:

4G LTE / 3G GSM Global Ready (this will occur after launch)

180 Degree rotating USB connector, folds away for storage

USB Extension Cable

External antenna port

VZAM in the box

NOT Mac OS X compatible at launch

GPS not supported at launch

SIM Card Slot – under back cover

Both devices use the 4G LTE SIM Card. VZW 4G SIM Card portability provides additional flexibility by allowing customers to seamlessly switch between VZW Certified Modems. The Verizon Wireless 4G SIM card can be secured by enabling the SIM Personal Identification Number (PIN).

For those of you that require 3G/4G Router use, at launch, no routers will be compatible. For those that need external antennas and amplifiers, keep in mind that 4G is on the 700Mhz frequency, so that current antennas and amps will only work if they are rated for that frequency (most are not).

Huawei did not lose any technological field to compete with large companies is that their last contribution was a mobile WiFi router, the Huawei E583C, a router with all the features you need to navigate safely from your mobile.

The wonder of this WiFi router is the ability to convert a signal 3.5G wireless laptop that will have the ability to connect up to five devices simultaneously via WiFi and up to 6 if the sixth is connected via a USB cable to the router Huawei E583C, such as a laptop.

If we talk about the speeds that can reach the router would have a maximum speed of 7.2 Mbps downlink and 5.76 Mbps upstream. For more comfortable you know if the operation is correct E583C Huawei only have to look at all the information on your screen OLED displays.

Although I have to emphasize that what I like about this router is its design, classic, elegant and with a cool touch that makes it more fun by bringing cash finishes. Unfortunately we still can not get in Europe but I assure you that if successful will soon be hanging around here.

The E583C will be available from August, and sold through digital equipment retail stores and retail outlets at major computer shopping malls in Hong Kong. The suggested retail prices of the two device is HK$1,380(Check out new prices and buy it from Amazon).

Networking hardware vendor known as Cisco introduced a router which according to the company is able to alter the World Wide Web.

The CRS-3 carrier-grade router is created to serve as a foundation of the next-generation Internet as it offers speeds of up to 322 Terabits per second.

Just so the great unwashed know, that is fast enough to transmit the entire printed collection of the US Library of Congress in one second, or the bandwidth required for every man, woman and child in China to make a video call, simultaneously. Every movie ever created could be streamed in less than four minutes, Cisco claims.

The Cisco CRS-3 triples the capacity of its predecessor, the Cisco CRS-1, with up to 322 Terabits per second. It also enables unified service delivery of Internet and cloud services with service intelligence spanning service provider Internet Protocol Next-Generation Networks (IP NGNs) and data center.

The CRS-3 machine will be able to replace the firm’s CRS-1 router that is considered to be the fastest and it is available among commercial routers. Furthermore, the CRS-3 is faster compared to the CRS-1.

According to the company, the router integrates the Quantumflow Array Processor that combines the power of six communications processor chips in order they could work as one due to which the retour performs high service capabilities as well as processing power.

Check out the video about the router,

Click here to view the embedded video.

Scale up to 322 Tbps with Cisco CRS-3 Carrier Routing System
