The new Facebook apps meant to track and share the things you want to share, like music. Facebook in its newly Open Graph campaign will legally share your music to your friends and your friends to you. Cool right? Yes it is cool, but would it be cool if you find out that there are missing features in FaceBook music ecosystem?

Spotify is one of those music industry that facebook introduced however there are five missing features in all these initiatives especially in music. First is how the True Music Sharing is. We’re talking about the right to choose. The problem is that it is already set-up music apps. The user has a right somehow to choose what music they want to listen because they have their own taste. Why spoon feed the things that they don’t wanted to. Got the point?
The second missing link is real time group listening. Why Facebook did not launch the ability to join the listeners on a station in real time so that people can have a comment in the chat room.

The Third missing link is the Music tab in the Ticker. People are only interesting on what people are listening, I’m not interested on who are my friends be friended. If the app is only for the music then the music activity should be shared as is.

The fourth missing link is apple. During the campaign on Facebook’s music ecosystem the Apple Company is nowhere to find. Because Apple has so many things to do they are still preparing for their iCloud. And besides they are not there to sell their music, and also Apple has a pride of coming in Facebook music campaign.
The Last one is the Independent Developers. Facebook did not notice this one. If service is sharing then why independent developers have no room in facebook? By this somehow could encourage every individual to make some platform of music and let others see it as we are talking about service is sharing? Let the user decide on what to play this is the true service of sharing.

Daniel Ek the CEO of music service Spotify visits the founder of Facebook in California. As Mark Zuckerberg make a big announcement that the company will unleash new waves of applications on Facebook. This is called Open Graph.

In the Open Graph, you simply share your friends what video you are watching, what music you are listening, what books you are reading and others. Media is part of Facebook initiative to really keep social in touch with your friends and families. Sharing your profile to your friends is cool. Aside you’re sharing your recent activities to your friends; you are actually sharing your private information. Hope you’ll share yours to mine and mine to yours.

The Open Graph came from the idea of “LIKE” button which signifies that you are agreeing with the user. Like button is just a simple form of self expression but the management thought of a greater idea that could improve the LIKE button.
Aside of the Like button, the friend list is also important to the application. Because in Facebook aside of what Zuckerberg’s telling that service is sharing, you can now hone your friends in your friend’s list whether if it’s your close friend or acquaintances only. Still privacy matters in here.

As The CEO of Facebook Zuckerberg said, “The whole point of this is that you use this app instead of whatever you were using before — because you want to discover things about your friends and share your activities with them,’ he says. “We’re not trying to make everyone use this stuff. Everyone has to make a choice up front to use it, and I think they’ll be signing up pretty clearly because they want their friends to be able to see this stuff. They were probably be a set of people whose reaction is just, ‘Wow, I don’t want any service to know all of the stuff that I listen to, just because it is a lot of information.’ But our belief is that people own their data and they should be able to share it or put it wherever they want.”

As the Google+ was launched the popularity was just easy because it was just only a form of invitation. Media sharing is what the FaceBook is promoting. This is also the purpose why Google launched the Plus Project. The Media sharing is going smooth from the start. However Google haven’t tried yet because they don’t know how popular it would become on the Plus Project. Because it was now proved that media sharing is popular in Google+ there are now plans to improve the users experience. Google is too sensitive to the information they want to improve, being mysterious will help Google confusing their competitors. If they give such information they will be easy to pin down on where area Google’s going to improve.

The Media sharing covers sharing of posts, sharing of images and videos. But where is the end of this media sharing of Google+? Does Google final destination is to monetization? The possibility is only little but it is still possible. It is a small possibility that Google will start partnerships with other news services which would lead to monetization in the future. It makes sense even it is a 1 percent possible. However Google says it is not important whether it is for monetization or for media sharing per se, what is important there’s a final destination.

The Company has enough more money to sustain the Plus Project. Google offers service and not money making. This is the habit that Google is boasting for. Google says if there are money involves in our service then it is inevitable. Although Google does not expect that the revenues are coming in from all over the country, Adwords and AdSense are the example.

FaceBook and The Google Plus Project tried not to monetize their social network. Their basis of unity is to offer service to the users and not to monetize them. But it is all about money and of course this must be the place that Google Plus is putting off the seen as a money maker. Google+ and FaceBook and other social networking are all the same but what makes differ is that how many users are subscribed in a particular social network.

Google Panda is the newest search algorithm for Google and its aim is to come up with high quality content sites while blotting out those that rank low. What is disturbing with Google Panda is that since its release date, many sites have already claimed that they have lost their rankings and traffic, and that they cannot do anything about it anymore. Here are a few things then to remember about Google Panda to avoid such happenstance to your site.

1. Google Panda may blot the entire site just because it has low value content even if there are a number of other unique and valuable items. How can you know if your site is endangered from the Google Panda? If your site contains duplicated and redundant materials that are outsource and spread out in a number of networks, if your site has short and unsubstantial articles, and several stylistic, factual and spelling errors, then your site might be considered to have low quality content.

2. Since Google Panda brings judgement to content, the sites then that steal and duplicate things are backlisted, thus you need to focus on creating unique content.

3. Authority is considered to be an important factor, but what can be considered as authority factors by Google Panda? Your site content should be something that can be trusted because it is written by an expert and is extensively discussed to a point that people may want to recommend, share and send this to friends who might be interested in the discussed topics too.

4. Advertisements in your site should be kept at a ratio – or at least in a minimal level, only enough to generate the cash you envision for your site to have.

5. Google Panda changes the presentation of the sites it hits, and these can be recognized through scourging the page views. If there is a massive fall in traffic, then Google Panda might have hit the site too.

Although Google Panda might seem evil because it waits for no reason before blotting out or backlisting a certain site, but this really just justifies the fact that there is a great need to actually have original works in ones’ site, and that stealing other content is definitely a no-no in the world of internet.

The Google+ app button has created a stir for Android fans. The app is very impressive as it is hitting the benchmarks for clicks over the other social networking apps.

Although it is admittedly thought that this will be too early for Google to venture into its very own social network, it seems that there is already a stemming problem for iOS based devices.

This is for the reason that currently no apps for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch are available. It means that the user experience and special notifications will be limited for the user of the said devices.

If the current status will remain for a long time, then it will give us enough reason to suspect that Google might have plans to overtake the big social networking sites (Twitter and Facebook) by giving exclusive features for Android apps.

By then, we can note that iOS apps might lose their popularity.

On the other hand, we still do have the benefit of the doubt. This recent issue can be either caused by the delay of approving the app on the side of Apple or Google has not yet submitted an app to the app store.

In any of these cases, we can say that it would be a cunning strategy for Google to promote Android.

In addition, the swarming products and services of Google are already dominating that can lead us to think that this might mark the fall of iOS and the rise for Android. Hopefully, Google will not be this cruel.

Do you think Google will give priority to Android apps than IOS apps?

Lately, as we observe the ebb and flow of social networking, we have seen and noticed that people are becoming participative in this activity.

While we can identify that many were just as curious as others that’s why they have joined these social networking sites, still the main reason for joining a social network is to expand the network of friends, easy access to news and information and for personalizing the individual’s profile.

However, as we have seen the entrance of the search giant into the world of social networking, it is admitted that several views and opinions from different users have sparked.

One of these views was taken from the report of ABC News when they asked about the luring means of Google+ to invite facebook users.

While it is clear to say that Google+ is not yet a threat to Facebook, still it has a deadly weapon that may change the course of dominance in the social networking arena.

According to a tech analyst, the new feature of Google+, of which the features from Twitter, Facebook and Linked are being combined can be the strongest weapon of Google+ to lure the users to join the site and claims that this feature will stand out from the rest of the features that other sites may offer.

These claims may be possible as users are currently confused on whether or not to tweet and post something, so an all-in-one service is very feasible to lure more users.

Moreover the neat, minimalist and professional approach of Google+ gained praises from its mainstream users. With that reason, we can now understand why the month old Google+ have reached the 20 million users in a very short time.

Google has announced its social networking platform – GOOGLE+ which is a fusion of services we already use but better.

It is set to rival Mark Zuckerberg‘s Facebook. With the failure of Google Wave and Google Buzz can Google+ really be termed as the Facebook killer? But if the demo is anything to go by, should Mark Zuckerberg and Co be worried?

When GOOGLE+ was unveiled; Facebook’s CEO Mr. Mark Zuckerberg was one of the first to create a GOOGLE+ account. And believe it or not, he now already have around 184,000+ followers.

That’s more than 90,000 followers than Google’s CEO Larry page, who now just have 94,000+ followers, as of this writing, making Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg as the most popular user of GOOGLE+.

Why did Mark Zuckerberg wanted to test the Google+ interface?

But recently Mark Zuckerberg disappeared from the list after changing his privacy settings to stop showing his friends and followers.

Is he not fond of all the publicity that was surrounding his Google+ profile? Does he want respect of his own privacy, while Facebook remains a very public and open social network?

Some people really choose anonymity and made their friends and followers also private wanting a bit of privacy is not that vain, what more if you’re a no. 1 in the industry.

Vic Gundotra, a lead on the Google+ project, has recently announced to Google’s current focus on improving privacy on the platform.

Users will be able to keep their gender as anonymous which may make some users more comfortable about joining a social network, without worrying about getting too many random messages.

Boris Veldhuijzen van Zanten, creator of SocialStatistics.com and is a co-founder of The Next Web, says that Matt Cutts, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Vic Gundotra and Marissa Mayer all changed their profiles overnight and consequently dropped out of the top 100. See Mark Zuckerberg is not the only one.

Is it the trend? Or just trying the new anonymity feature of Google+? Privacy..anyone?

Are you fond of using the video chat via Skype? If so, which one will you most prefer to use the Skype, on your Facebook account or on your Samsung Galaxy S2?

Recent articles on various sites report that there is an emerging competition on utilizing the video chat. Lately, the rivalry was known to be between Facebook and Samsung Galaxy S2.

In our previous discussion, we have talked about the selection of Samsung Galaxy S2 as one of the Android handsets that will be ported with Skype video chat.

However, the announcement of Facebook that they will also have the integration of Skype video chat has led us into thinking of its possible results. Will there be a stiff competition between a social-network and a mobile device?

Truly, we are full of queries in mind, but the Christian Science Monitor comments that in this competition, Facebook will most likely capture the user’s choice.

This is for the reason that Facebook is currently has the largest users all over the world. Aside from its user friendly, it is freer from the carriers’ traffic and together with Google it has change the course of telecommunication.

In addition, it is more practical to have the Skype via Facebook than on a mobile device as the Skype requires the Internet connection before video chatting will be available.

So, instead of paying two bills, you can reduced your budget by making video calls over the web. Comparably, video chatting via Skype in mobile handsets is not a usual thing that everyone does with their phones, but it goes handy with a device on your hand.

Nevertheless, the Skype on Facebook will open the 750 million access worldwide, but video chatting can only be done if your connected to the Internet.

So, do you like Facebook’s new feature? How would you consider this new feature in your device?

Previously, we only thought of Google as the most popular search engine. However, with the launching of its new services inclusively the Google +1 button, those previous thoughts have changed.

Google +1 is the new service created to compete directly with Twitter. In the recent tally of the SEO firm BrightEdge, it seems that Google’s Plus button is the most implemented code onto websites among its rivals.

Accordingly, among the 10,000 biggest websites that have been examined over the past weeks, the Google +1 button has 33% increasing placements.

Apparently, just this month the plus button of Google has 4.4 % placements of those websites, which is an 8% increase compared to last month’s placements.

However, the Mashable website have also laid down information that this increase in percentage of placements for Google +1 is none compared to the 20% of Facebook’s Like Button of those 10,000 sites.

It is admitted that Facebook is the one who’s leading the edge in social media, but the working effort of Google+1 for just a year is quiet notable.

With this update, we can say that Google is going to have a long way before it can totally strike out Facebook.

Regardless of their real goal, it is up for the user to decide which button is the most useful and interactive for him. With the advent of social-networking sites, we have seen how far the competition has brought us into another form of socialization.

The web search giant is thriving these days. Just a week ago, we have felt the warm welcome of users for Google+. We are all amazed and thankful for this service. This is just totally awesome that perhaps some of you may be are thinking for more updates like your Gmail account.

Well, if that’s what you want, we are pleased to inform all Gmail users that you too will receive an update to the look and feel of your account. Recent reports states that Google has confirmed that they are working for the new and improved version of Gmail.

Lately in a blog post, Jason Cornwell, a Google User Experience Designer has announced that this move is part of Google’s aim to give a more focused, elastic and effortless experience to the users. However, we will see the said changes in a gradual state as they want to hear and listen more from the feedbacks of the users.

Well, I can say that’s a wise thing to do. Not only it will save time and effort, it will also give a greater room for improvements.

Add to that, this bit-by-bit approach will allow the integration and incorporation of those feedbacks in the redesigning of Gmail.

Although Google is yet silent about the features of the Gmail service, they have provided the sneak peek of the redesign Gmail layout. Gmail users were given opportunities to access its preview. And as far as we can see, the redesigning can be noticed in its “compose” button and mailbox area.

Finally, Google is paying attention more and more for the best things they can give to the users.
