Apple is one of the famous and influential multinational corporation who designs and manufactures the most popular consumer electronics, computer hardware, software and personal computers. It is known for developing the iOS, a mobile operating system and some of the devices like the iPod, iPhones and iPad.

But there is more emphasis on the iPad these days due to its increasing share on the market of the games platform.

Comparably, it has been seen that the gaming industry have seen to be previously dominated by the video gaming consoles.

But recently, the iPad gaming platform is growing fast with 80% market share, far too greater than the 40% market share of gaming consoles.

But CEO John Riccitello, cited that the declining result for consoles and increasing growth for iPad games is quite normal for we are in the cycle of casual gaming.

He further explains that we are used in buying a product every after 5 years for this is the usual time frame for making releases of new products.

Looking at it as a cycle, then he said that there is no big issue on this one. So, there is nothing much to worry about. In fact, this paves for more benefits on collaborative gaming than processing power.

In the meantime, the mobile gaming is also predicted that it will take advance over the console gaming with regards to graphics, power and performance in the very near future.

They have said that devices like the iPhone and iPad provide satisfaction to the needs of the passionate gamer.

Do you prefer to play games in your iPad than in game consoles?

Recently, some sources have told AppleInsider regarding what to expect from Apple devices this month as they are anticipated to release an update.

According to this information, the probable release of the next generation iPhone device might mean to slowly extinct the classic iPod Touch, as it will only receive a white additional colored model in 2011.

This is supported by Ming Chi-Kou, Concord Securities analyst by reporting that currently on the third quarter checks on Apple devices, it showed that the company have set orders for iPod Touch white models.

Moreover, he stated that the build plans for the device have only slight changes from the previous models that were released last year.

Apparently, the white iPod Touch models has the same date of release with the iPhone 5, of which expected to take its mass production between August and September.

The iPod Touch was known to be the main and instrumental product for Apple way back in 2001.

For such a long good times, it became their leading product. But now the iPod Touch have only garnered 5% of Apple’s total revenue in the recent post of the company earnings.

However, in business nothing is personal or sentimental. It is understandable that sometimes the company must do the things they seem to be best.

In this case, iPod Touch have already been surpassed by iPad and iPhones, of which admittedly are more influential and profitable products.

This could be the reason for only slight changes on iPod Touch.

While we can’t say anything aside from what we have learned in this report, we still think that Apple might have to do their job in verifying whether it be better to elude the iPod Touch in their line of products.

Would you buy the white iPod Touch?

Windows 8, the next gen Microsoft OS and Xbox 360, the seventh gen video game console are rumored to have one another’s hand giving more hype for the upcoming platform.

Lately, we have been receiving various reports on the upcoming Microsoft’s Windows 8.

We all have heard its possible look and feel down to its potential support, but probably the most recent in all of these is the Xbox 360 game; feature that will be integrated in Windows 8.

Apparently, this rumor came from a website which claims that our most favorite Xbox 360 games like L.A. Noire, Mortal Kombat and Portal 2 will be included in the new platform.

Consequently, the user may subscribe to the Xbox service like the Xbox Live.

This means that by subscribing to the Xbox Live, the PC gamers will be allowed to compete online without the Xbox gaming console. But the online gaming is said to be dealt with Windows Live Marketplace.

In view of this report, we can say that if all of these are true, there can be two poles pulling apart from each other. One is that, it will be an advantage for those gamers who don’t have the console.

It will also be very ideal to play games direct to PCs where keyboards are ready. On the other hand, this may be a disadvantage for those gamers who invested much on the consoles.

They’ve cost a lot for the consoles and all of the sudden those consoles may render less useful to them. But then again, these are just my opinions. I hope that sooner we will have a more definite news about this support.

Music is one of the most enjoyable thing in the planet earth. We don’t know where did it came from, but its influence and power is so strong that even the most passive and pathetic persons have their own choice of music too.

But in the modern age, people are trying to add accessories and they are producing gadgets that will make our listening with music more enjoyable.

One accessory that is popularly used in listening to music is the headphone. Headphone is actually the most ideal device in terms of sound recording and streaming.

For that the Aiaiai Track Headphone is one beautiful device that will surely catch everyone’s heart for music.

This headphone is designed by KiBiSi, a Dansih design firm. The inspiration of Aiaiai’s design came from the retro headphones of 1980′s in a minimalist approach.

Unlike the recent headphones of which you can see today, the Aiaiai headphones have the driver’s and their clips in the inside tracks of the headband.

The drivers, steel headband and the driver clip are its three components. On the right driver, there are integrated microphone and player controls. Add to that, its headphones use a 40mm on-ear driver with two extra colored clips.

Apparently, the sensitivity of the speakers is 112 +/- 3dB rating and its frequency response is 20Hz-20KHz.

Overall, this headphone has great sounds, unique design and easy to wear, but we’re afraid it might not fit to all head sizes. But so far, this over the ear headphone is the best of its kind for only around $100.

Is Google going to purchase Hulu?

Google is entering again into a competition. This Internet giant has been recently reported that they are in the possible niche of acquiring the Hulu, a popular video content service in the country along with YouTube. Previously, we are running in circles guessing for the possible buyers of Hulu.

Our lists have pointed out Yahoo and Microsoft and today we include Google.

This report has taken its sources from The Los Angeles Times. Information regarding the possible acquisition Google to Hulu has stated that Google’s plan for buying Hulu is very obvious.

There are many blatant reasons for this claim, it includes the access to popular content and profitable advertising deals.

Although Google do still have a good partnership with YouTube, the only thing that hinders Google is that YouTube blocks the property of Google to video ad sales.

For that Google is making reconstructions over YouTube. Some of its modification is aimed to bring the premium content platforms and to introduce the channels that are branded with celebrities. But the overall reason for these changes is to attract more viewers and advertisers.

And due to this refining, the platform is stepping into the higher-quality of content. It could use the mainstream shows that are very available in Hulu.

However, there are factors that can hold back Google’s plan in acquiring Hulu.

The first obstacle is the opposition of the Hulu’s owners. Second would be the investigations of Department of Justice regarding the issues on software deals and lastly the Internet domination of YouTube.

As of now, we are watching Google’s next step in improving their services to the users. With this watchfulness, we are hoping that the outcome will be better.

Previously, the Google TV was introduced with much display a year ago at Google I/O. However, there were early indications that bringing this technology in the living room of every family might be more challenging than the company had expected.

It is so disappointing for the company to experience setbacks on the product that is supposed to give them the winning punch. In other words, the Google’s vision of combining the web and TV content was problematic. Add to that, its executives could not give the exact time when the Hulu broadcast TV service would be available on Google TV.

Moreover, the problems continued when its devices from Sony and Logitech were introduced because all leading broadcast networks blocked access to their web content, specifically on the device. It also received an unenthusiastic interest from the consumers and main reviews about Google TV is not that good. The results were evident in the report that it sold only a little in the first quarter of this year.

For that reason, Google now wants to address these problems with a completely revamped version. This is called Google TV 2.0, it offers various of tweaks to make content easier and cheaper devices. Google TV 2.0 works the same with Android phones of which access to the Android Market will enable the installation applications. While it can be stated that applications to Google TV devices could be crucial for TV platform, the representatives of the company have already gave the assurance that things are significantly in control.

Spotify – The music streaming service has come with a major announcement. Recently the company announced that it would begin offering iTunes and iPod integration to users, with a bonus MP3 store for those who want to purchase the songs they have been streaming. With this move, Spotify is aggressively courting Apple’s vast user base, possibly in preparation for its long-anticipated launch in the US.
The first part of Spotify’s announcement involves integration with “classic” style iPods, such as the iPod classic, iPod nano, and iPod shuffle.

Usually the users can only manage the playlists for those devices through iTunes software on the Mac or Windows, but Spotify says that users can now plug in their devices and have them appear in the Spotify sidebar for song management. From there, you can sync your Spotify playlists and any MP3s you have in them to your iPod, just like you would through iTunes.

Also, it has announced that a new music download service will go hand-in-hand with its streaming service. Now, when users spend time crafting their streaming playlists, they can purchase (some of) those songs directly from Spotify in order to sync them with their non-streaming devices.

According to an update from Spotify, they said that the iPod syncing feature is not limited to premium subscribers after, but the Premium Offline mode is not available to the iPod.
For that reason, it marks a slight shift from Spotify’s original business model, which was to offer various levels of streaming service, and puts it more into competition with traditional download services like iTunes and Amazon.

For us, it seems like Spotify is giving iPod users more software and syncing options and allows iPhone and Android users to sync their music in wireless that certainly can’t be done through iTunes yet. However, it sure is making many of us here in the US want to try out Spotify more than ever.

There is an interesting update on music apps by the Amazon. With various services that allow users to upload up to 5GB of files comes the all new Amazon Cloud Drive with its Cloud Player. While Cloud Drive is a free uploading service, Cloud Player is a platform that allows user to stream music that was uploaded and/or purchased from Amazon to a browser or Android-powered mobile device.

This platform takes all the music you upload from Amazon Cloud Drive and makes it streamable.

There are also two methods that you can opt to in case the 5GB is no longer enough to make room for storage. The first method is to pay for more storage like $20 for 20GB and $50 for 50GB per year. The second method is to purchase a digital album on Amazon’s MP3 store for the given $20 credit towards the purchase storage. However, in the second method users can only upload MP3 and AAC files available on iOS that are not restricted.
