This is unlike other car races games where the player is just shown as the driver and the profile of the car is not seen at all.

The game by the way allows the player to choose from 25 car choices although majority of them would still need to be unlocked as the game goes on. Also, other than the racing, the player needs too to know ticks to gain turbo boost to win the game.

A Cars 2 fan will enjoy the game regardless of possible hitches. But there are really several reasons why a non fan will enjoy the game as well.

One of the many reasons would be the difficulty. Although it has been said earlier that the game is a no brainer, it technically gets difficult after a few stages.

The races become harder, requiring quick actions from the player. If you’re slow, you won’t be able to finish the game at all.

The additional extras in the game are drifting, energy turbos and collecting crests and badges.

Exciting actions that can be done too are driving through ten fruitstands in one of the races, drafting cars for five minutes, using fifteen turbos in a single event and hitting the chase car 25 times with the car weapons in the Survival Mode.

All these extras are an additional depth to the game, making the game a valuable rent for the hardcore adult gamers.

A hitch for the game however is it does not allow online multiplayer. Allowing the gamers to connect online would probably increase the game’s strength.

If online multiplayer is allowed, then the players will be able to compete with other gamers too.

A come on though for kid gamers is that they can play mini games like avoiding laser canons and collecting shields at the same time. This too comes from the scenes in the movie. And the gun firing may really be engaging for them.

All in all, Cars 2 video game can be an entertaining piece for both adult and kid gamer.

When the Sony Playstation Network got hacked, things really got bad for Sony and it’s users. If you’re an active Sony Playstation network user, you might be one of the victims of these vicious hackers who made off with a ton of your personal data. Sony has said that they are not certain whether sensitive credit card data was taken.

According to discussions in underground hacker forums, the hackers got your numbers. Comments in these forums, which are being monitored by security researchers, reportedly claim that the hacked database included customer names, addresses, usernames, passwords and up to 2.2 million credit card numbers.

The hackers hope to sell the data for $100,000 according to Trend Micro senior threat researcher Kevin Stevens. However, one of the possible hackers said that the data has been offered to Sony them but the company has allegedly denied the issue pointed to them.

“To my knowledge there is no truth to the report that Sony was offered an opportunity to purchase the list,” said Patrick Seybold, Senior Director of Corporate Communications and Social Media at Sony.
However, Mathew Solnik, a security consultant with iSEC Partners said,

“Sony is saying the credit cards were encrypted, but we are hearing that the hackers made it into the main database, which would have given them access to everything, including credit card numbers,”

The hackers in the forum had detailed information about the servers that were attacked. The exploit they described is consistent with the presumed vulnerability hacking into a Playstation 3 console and attacking through the hardware credentials once on the network.

An image appeared on the Australian GAME website that reveals a brand new map pack for the hugely popular Call of Duty: Black Ops game. The map pack entitled ‘Escalation’ was then officially announced back at the beginning of April and dated by Activision about a week later.

Now we have even more good news for all you COD: Black Ops fans out there. According to a recent article by Pete Davison on the gamepro.com website, the publisher has recently revealed a few more details, as well as releasing a sneak peek trailer for the upcoming ‘Escalation’ map pack.

As most of you will already know, the map pack will contain a total of five new maps, including a new ‘zombie experience.’ The other four multiplayer maps include Hotel, Convoy, Zoo and Stockpile, which is set in a remote Russian farming town that houses secret weapons production facilities.

The Hotel map will see gamers playing on the roof of a Cuban hotel and casino in Havana. While the Convoy map which features close-quarters combat takes place at the scene of an ambush. The Zoo map sees gamers fighting it out in a long-abandoned Russian zoo.

Unfortunately Activision chose to stay quiet about the ‘Call of the Dead’ zombie map at this stage, but they promised fans that more details will arrive soon. The ‘Escalation’ map pack is out on May 3rd for the Xbox 360.

According to a recent article by Robert Purchase over on the eurogamer.net website, the developer BioWare has apparently revealed that although there won’t be any multiplayer modes in the Mass Effect 3 game, they will consider it for any future games and spin-offs.

The role-playing elements of the Mass Effect series are being expanded for the Mass Effect 3 title. Not only will powers are able to evolve several times, but skill trees will also be larger than before. Weapon mods will also be making a return in the third installment.
