There’s only one thing you can rely of and that is survey, although it is not 100 percent applicable but if you rate in the lowest rank, you should starting to worry. Everybody is waiting for the next survey on who are the leading brands or products the certain market. Everybody love and see the result in the survey, although the conclusion is based on their perspectives and to their few participants in the survey. In the latest conduct in the market, Android phones are now leading in the market which is the reason why others fall and stay put. Some phone was able to manage even though the Android phones are rising up. Apple managed to hold about 28 percent in the market, thanks to their iPone even if the operating system of iPhone is 3 months late.

In the recent survey conducted by Nielsen, about 43 percent of those asked in the survey said that they owned an Android, comparing to the 28 percent of those aseked who have said that they owned iPhone. In this scenario it is quite unease in part of apple because they have poor survey in the market. According to AppleInsider, “the former also increased in market share in the past three months, a factor of the late arrival of Apple’s new smartphone. We shouldn’t start to think that the iPhone is dead and buried; once the iPhone 5 and iOS 5 is released things should change in Apple’s favor very quickly.”

The new fifth-generation of iPhone aside of its being a smartphone it could now come with LTE. Soon iPhone 5 and iOS will bring out the history but Apple needs also to consider that people will buy in much affordable price. This is the only way if Apple wants to compete with Adroid. As Android rises up, Apple rises also. In the report on AppleInsider, “there are more than prepaid customers, which is still untouched by Apple – how can they allow all that potential to just slip through their fingers?” the clash between Android phones and Apple starts and who will win the market competition?

Apple and Windows are leading in the world of IT especially on upgrading their software. However, to cut these sagas here are reasons why Mac is still the winner.

People do have a habit that after using their computer they will totally shutting down their PC or leaving the computer 24/7. Knowing the importance of the killer feature of Mac is 100% steadfast, near-instant suspend and resume. This however will save up power.

In Mac OS X there is no delay in loading, so, if you have to reboot your machine, you can get back to where you were quickly. In OS X, Spaces is actually useful, due to one key improvement — the ability to swipe between desktops using a multi-touch gesture. There’s absolutely no delay; just a silky smooth horizontal scroll.

If there are any problems you can always look at the Activity Monitor, Console and Disk Utility. These three applications will help you see if there are system problems.

Apple is the leading example in user-interface design and shareware authors imitating this. The typical Mac user could get away with only buying Microsoft Office and using freeware/shareware and Apple granted software for everything as well.

Well you can say that you can just download these Mac apps but really, downloading these apps do not mean that they’d function well all the time. The apps that can be found in Mac and not in Windows are iPhoto, iCal, Time Machine, Stickies and Expose.

Apple’s control panel contains all the OS configuration setting, making it easy to access and do system wide changes on the settings, unlike in windows where you get to change things using several places, like hardware manager, Network connections and services manager. An example of such accessibility would be being able to edit TCP/IP settings in the “advanced” panel in Apple, whereas in Windows, thins would be an overcomplicated procedure.

Window users technically are already familiar with the fact that several pop ups regarding apps trial versions about to run out, and if you try to uninstall them because you don’t want to avail of them anymore, you’d find it difficult to uninstall them. With Apple however, these pop ups only come out once you activate them, and if they do so, they are less intrusive than in Windows. Mac doesn’t need to sell out security software because they do have good security software installed in Mac. Unlike windows who makes antivirus for profiteering. Mac is simply for practical and No lame ideas.

MacBook Air’s imperfection:

The trend of nowadays netbooks, laptops, and tablets are base on how skinny the gadgets are. The more skinny the more trendy, the more trendy the gadgets are the more possible to be bought in the market. The MacBook Air is the new product of apple that is super-thin. The Super-thin model of Apple has so many compromises which will appear less appealing to the customers.

Just for an instance:
1. Using 80GB iPod hard drive as system drive. Apple’s customers are much favoured to a thicker fashion of the MacBook rather than to have a skinny model that has an anorexic.
2. Non-expandable memory. The motherboard of the MacBook Air has a 2GB RAM, that’s too undersized memory for a notebook that’s worth 2,500-4,500 Australian Dollars.

3. 64GB flash memory as hard drive. As replacement for the hard drive memory is quite nice, the dreadful thing is that it is worth 1,400 Australian Dollars.

4. Single USB port. Without the USB hub with you or the extension cord, it cannot connect from one gadget to another. Branding MacBook Air as ultraportable notebook is already defeated.
5. No wireless broadband. Please Imagine, the trendy notebook that is so thin has no built-in broadband. It is quite mismatch for a thick broadband to connect in a single port notebook to have an internet connection.

6. Last Gen Processor. The latest processor of MacBook Air is equal to Core 2 Duo, Which means it is so slow version. Remember it doesn’t mean that when you’re using the word “latest” is equal to “better”.

7. No microphone port. Well of course you need to have a USB hub to connect.

8. Non-replaceable battery. If there’s already fussed in your notebook’s battery, expect to send it out the entire MacBook Air to Apple’s company.

9. Not that thin. Apple’s claimed that MacBook Air is the super-thin model of all competing notebooks. For the record, Fujitsu Q2010 is half a millimetre thicker than to MacBook Air. Thick a little bit but when we look the lifebook of Fujitsu it is more appealing than Mac Air.

10. No Ethernet Port. You need to have USB Ethernet adaptor just in case your router stops working.

What is super-thin yet anorexic? That’s the simple point for those who still want to have MacBook Air in their laps. Know the specs first and have review in every product, that’s the secret to get awesome notebook.

Apple MacBoook Pro 17in VS HP Envy 17-2002tx:

Her we match up two of the most powerful and stylish PCs. Our subjects recently are the the MacBook Pros with Sandy Bridge CPUs against its equivalent PCs, but this time we will turn our attention with the 17in (MC725X/A model) of Apple MacBook Pro and the Envy 17-2002tx of HP.

Similarly, these two products are what we call as the laptop PCs that works almost a turbo desktop machine. In fact, these can be a replacement for desktops.

On the other hand, when we take a glance on the looks of these machines, we can say that they are likely the same with great architectural body that comes in a refined style.

Both of them have smooth surfaces and metal-polished. Moreover, these machines have Gigabit Ethernet and a/b/g/n Wi-Fi.

However, based from the comparison above, we can see that MacBook Pro 17in has an Intel Core i7-2720QM processor, which is slightly faster than Intel Core i7-2630QM processor of HP Envy 17-2002tx.

But HP Envy is more powerful with its AMD Radeon HD 6850M and an 8GB of RAM, than MacBook Pro’s AMD Radeon HD 6750M and 4GB. In addition, HP Envy an overwhelming 2TB storage, while MacBook Pro 17in has a smaller storage in 750GB.

Apple Macbook Pro 17in:

HP Envy:

In comparison with their screens, HP Envy has it with a 17.3in that is 3D capable whereas the 17in of MacBook is higher in resolution.

Although HP Envy is somewhat heavier than MacBook Pro 17in, its counterpart has a quite amazing endurance of battery life of 7 hours.

Lastly, these two machines have very close retailing price with a $100 difference.

MacBook Air is one of the smallest and lightest laptops that have been released. Due to its size and weight, consumers were instantly attracted with this Apple product. However, there is one feature in MacBook Air that was critically discussed by some experts. That one feature is its battery.

As we all know, MacBook Air needs a complementary battery for extended use. Due to this, the Bird Electron, a Japanese company who is working for the Apple is offering its MacBook Air external battery.

Apparently, Bird Electron’s MacBook Air External battery uses the eight C batteries, which are really big and bulky. Specifically, it measures 8″x 6″x 2 and weighs 2.3 lbs. It costs $247 USD. But the adapter of which you have to connect to your MacBook Air unit is sold separately at $49. So, if you want to purchase this product, you will have a total cost of $296.

You may say it’s expensive and in addition you shall make another effort to carry this thing with you. But I can say that this external battery is useful as a backup in times of emergencies. Take note, not all hassles are useless, they have viable purposes too. This comes evidently in the MacBook Air external battery.

So far, the Bird Electron’s MacBook Air external battery is yet the best for MacBook Air. But I do hope that Bird Electron will not settle in this current product. I’m sure they are already at the stage of thinking further improvements with MacBook Air external battery.

Do you know what it takes for a Mac to become a Mac? Well, for those who ran out of ideas, let me give you answers to that puzzle.

Mac has already been noted as the finest notebook ever. Apple has been working with its improvements since its official release. The very thing that makes the Mac, a Mac is the Operating System (OS) that runs through the system of this notebook. Specifically, for Mac notebooks, OS X was fully integrated with Mac’s software, in which it works perfectly because these pieces are made from the same company.

Today, after witnessing the oozing performance of OS X, it’s time to level up with OS X Lion. So far, it is the most advanced desktop OS ever developed with overwhelming 250 plus added new features. One amazing new feature is the AirDrop.

Accordingly, this feature will enable the user to send files without the aid of wires, set-up nor network required. It utilizes Peer-to-Peer Wi-fi between Mac computers and builds a firewall protection that prevent others from accessing the files which you have been transferred to another person.

On the other hand, you can also enjoy the other advanced features brought by OS X Lion. Resume, Mission Control and Auto Save are few that we are going to disclose here. First, with Resume you will no longer have to start again from the beginning of the process in turning on your Mac.

Second is the Mission Control where everything you have in your Mac will be summed up in just one screen like what you’ve seen in the latest Chromium Web browser. Another is the Auto Save, in which automatically saves your work without having to click the Ctrl+S.

Finally, as announced at the Apple site, OS X Lion will be coming soon this July at Mac App Store for $29.99.

Former data storage devices like the floppy disks and CD-ROMS are no longer in the trend, since USB Flash drives were developed in 2000. USB flash drives are memory data storage devices that are integrated with Universal Serial Bus interface. It is typically smaller, faster, removable and rewritable. Compared to previous data storage devices, flash drives are handy in less than 30 g.

Today, we’ve enjoyed the usefulness and convenience of USB flash drives in our work. We have known some of the brands of flash drives like Kingston, Sandisk Cruzer and IronKey for a time, but as of this moment there is another kind of flash drive that you might want to consider.

The news about this latest USB flash drive has taken source from a Chinese website. The USB disk with a 30-pin connector is called the Photoflash i-FlashDrive. It features a USB 2.0 port on the other end and an Apple approved applications. It’s oozing with large capacities ranging from 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB to 32GB.

Basically, what makes it different from the ordinary data transfer devices is its sufficient file managing interface that allows you to play media files within the app, backup and restore contacts, copy files, create new folders, store text or voice recordings in one device. In that way, the hassles of the limited memory storage capacity of your iPhone will not bother you anymore. Alternatively, it can transfer and store data for your iPhone when you are in a slow Wi-fi areas.

It will come in the US this July with prices ranging from $95 to $180.

The iMac from Apple will most certainly undergo som changes in 2011.
For the recent years, we all know that Apple is always taking the lead for technology innovation. And we have seen their stances on the various updates they have done on the latest iMac 2011.

Based from the previous discussions, we described the iMac 2011 as the first desktop to offer Thunderbolt I/O technology. And if we try to recall, the Thunderbolt technology which was developed by Intel is the fastest data transfer technology in town. Aside from the high performance, you can also get the flexibility and simplicity in this new technology.

This gives us the reason that changes in iMac 2011 mark the differences between the new and the outing going model of iMac. According to Apple, the updates in iMac 2011 include changes in graphics, processor and the port, but surprisingly its price remained the same as the 2010 model.

To be specific, there are two choices which you can opt for the processors, it can be either Intel Core 5 or Core i7, of which you can upgrade to 3.4GHz. Also, its Thunderbolt-powered port can be easily connected to HDMI and VGA.

Moreover, its GPU is supported with the latest AMD Radeon, of which AMD Radeon HD 6750M, AMD Radeon HD 6770M and AMD Radeon HD 6970M are the three optional models. In addition, its camera comes with the FaceTime HD features that makes real-time video calling as clear as you want video callings to be. The sharp images it produce is one of the best features in iMac camera.

Do you like the changes in iMac 2011?
