Toyota Prius Plug-In Hybrid This March 2012

Are you a fan of hybrid cars? If so, why not take a glimpse of this latest plug-in hybrid car of Toyota that runs in speedy kick.

Recently, Toyota announced its latest pride, the Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid Car. This car is set to hit the streets in March 2012 with its major aspect of pure electric up to 15 miles. It features the speed of 62mph and a 4.4kWh lithium ion battery that replaces the old battery of the previous Toyota Prius. The car apparently plugs in 1.5 hours into a 240V outlet. Aside from these major aspects, Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid is also impressive with its illuminated charging port, back-up camera, LED headlights which is energy efficient and the mm wave radar sensor. The sensor enables the active cruise control and pre-collision control system that provides reliable security.

But aside from this revelation, Toyota also gave details on the other two new Prius Hybrids that will come in the US in 2013. These hybrid cars are really marvelous but its price is also jaw dropping. For the basic model, it will cost $32,000, while the advance model will cost $39,525.

These Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid cars will be first available for the fourteen (14) launching states in the US by March 14, 2012. Those states are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Virginia and Washington. After this launching, the availability of the cars will be opened to all states in 2013.
