According to techopedia.com, planking by definition is the modern game of lying face down keeping the hands along the body and the feet outstretched in unusual locations, after which a photo was taken, it will be posted to several Internet social networks.

On one hand, urbandictionary.com defines planking as the art of laying horizontally across any object on the ground.

Its aim is to occur in daring situations or display one’s core strength. While there can be no definite information about its origin, the term itself was popularized in Australia and the actual craze was believed to start in England.

Today, planking is world’s online craze where people positioned themselves dangerously and post that photos or videos in Twitter or Facebook.

However, the craziest planking ever posted in a social network was done by an employee at American Gamestop video games retailer shop.

Apparently, John Mazzocchi, the guy who posted his own pictures (@Mazzlow on Twitter) planking between the two kiosks inside the store was recently fired together with his co-employee by their employer at Gamestop.

Obviously, his hardcore display has made the store in-charge disgusted due to their irresponsible act during that working hour.

Mazzocchi have been an employee at Gamestop for about five years, unfortunately his reputation at the store got stained by just planking.

While we can say that it is a very unlucky story for him, it seems that like it is the opposite for Mazzocchi when he jokingly said on Twitter that he was the first guy who was fired for planking at work.

In general, planking may be classified as a freedom of expression and for that no one is supposed to stop them for doing the thing.

But what is clear in this story is taking full responsibility with the freedom that has been given to all us.

Of course, there is no law yet in banning planking, but he must have done it outside the premises of his working place, where he is under the policies of his employer. That is all simple and I hope all hardcore plankers must learn from this incident.
