Before anything else, I would like to inform you that this news is not about the techy gadgets that we usually post.
This is about the weird, funny, absurd and disturbing report about a man who stuck himself in a manhole.
In the California, Jared Medeiros a 21-year old guy was found stuck in a storm drain at Ceres.
A nearby resident called some help to rescue the man after a faint shriek and a flapping legs were noticed right through her bedroom window.
Apparently, he was stuck there for about 40 minutes before he was noticed by the residents and rescued by the local firemen.
Dumbfounded by what they have seen, people are laughing about the scene and they were very confused why and how Medeiros have done the thing.
The authorities who rescued him thought that he was intoxicated but not impaired during the incident.
However, when he was interviewed to explain his side on this story, he said that the incident was not funny because he was attacked by four young men of what he perceived as gangsters when he was walking to his buddy’s house. Accordingly, the gang beat him and have thrown his cellphone away in the drain.
So he crawled down to the manhole in trying to get his phone to call his mom.
He explains:
“I walked passed them and tehn one of them hit me from behind. I started fighting with one of them and then all of them were hitting and kicking me on the ground. My head was split open and I was bleeding. I felt blood from my head and I started shaking, so I went for my cell.”
Although there seems to be a quite unfounded basis to his story, still we cannot just all laugh at this.
If found true that he was really intoxicated, then that calls for a more diligent work for the policemen in patrolling the neighborhood for people who have the tendency to become behaviorally disturbed when intoxicated.
