Unlocked Iphone 4 mobile phones for all. This is what Apple now is promising us.
The recent move of Apple in opening the access of iPhone 4 to customers have caused dilemma for consumers. Many of them have seen the Apple’s decision to be merely senseless and disagreeable as this would only make their unlocked iPhone 4 a problem.
If you’re going to ask why and how, then we will explain it this way. Since your iPhone is an unlocked one, you should be able to use it on other networks. However, its downfall is the swarming issues that will always affect your handset. In other words, it is not safe; you are just risking your own handset. Add to that are the different settings and compatibility that you have deal with in each network.
Like for example, when you choose to use your unlocked handset on AT&T, the GSM 3G radio frequencies is readily set, but when you go to use it on T-Mobile, 3G settings is not enhanced. It will only be useful with EDGE. In this alone we can already sense the conflict.
Another troubling issue is the utilization of micro-SIM sized sim cards on T-Mobile. Moreover, the unlocked iPhone is not working with Sprint due to the use of GSM, which is very incompatible with each other.
While you may say that all of these bring disappointment, we have to correct on one thing. Actually, the unlocked iPhone 4 is mainly design for traveling outside the territory of US. So, I would say that this issue does not only end here. By this arrangement, we blatantly say that iPhone 4 is not a cool idea.
