Robotic Glowing Balls by Sphero:
Balls are men’s first toy. Moms and Dads used to give it to them to play with. But baby boys are not the only who loves playing with the ball. Little kittens and cute puppies love the ball too. In fact, this is the most common thing that you can give them that they won’t ever ignore.
In some cases, balls are objects usually used in ball games such as football, basketball, cricket, golf, tennis, soccer and the like. But given the fact that we are already at the modern age, it is not surprising to hear that even the ordinary ball can turn into a super robotic ball.
Basically, I’m talking about the world’s first robotic ball from Sphero. Apparently, it is controlled by smartphone with iOS SDK, RobotKit and RobotUIKit for customization. Sphero utilizes this technology for producing a customized calibration, color picker and sensitivity views.
Moreover, the Sphero Android SDK features the ability to control more than one Sphero ball simultaneously and it also has the ability to connect and set in program the applications. In other words the
Sphero is not determined by the device, but it is driven depending on the app that you want to use. Like for instance, the Sphero could play a game of golf, navigate an obstacle course or crush zombies.
The Sphero changes as you go to varying computer games.
This is made possible through the open API, which allows the Sphero to be available to anyone.
Other features of Sphero include Bluetooth wireless connection, boost mode, RGB LED light and an induction charger. With the size of 74mm diameter, the Sphero robotic ball fits rightly on your palm.
This will be released on a first-come, first-serve basis later this year. But you can now already make your pre-order via Sphero.com
