JVC’s iPhone and iPad Dock:

Recently, JVC has excited us with their announcement of releasing the Micro Component System “UX-VJ5 and UX-VJ3″, a double dock unit for iPhone and iPad. This system answers our problem in charging the two devices. We can now dock both devices at once without any hassles.

Apparently, the unit features a direct cable-free docking style that provides high-quality digital connection, sophisticated design and simple interiors, front surround sound capabilities and music file playback capabilities.

The design embodies neat, non-bulky and soft curves with video outputs with separate stereo and audio system.

This Micro Component System will be released in two models. Each of these models has different release dates. For UX-VJ5, it will be released by Mid-July in white, black, pink, green, violet and brown colored cases, while UX-VJ3 will be released later in the first week of August only in white colored case. However, the suggested price is not yet revealed by JVC.

Moreover, the main specs of the two models include an amplifier section with practical maximum outputs in 15W + 15W (JEITA), a tuner section with both FM and AM tuner reception frequencies.

It also has full-range bass reflex speakers. Add to that, the weights of these docking devices ranges from 0.7kg to 1.5kg.

However, the USB devices are limited only to those with compatible USB mass storage.

Also its connectivity is limited to iPad Nano from 2nd to 6th generation, iPod touch from generation 1 up to fourth generation and the rest, no details yet is recorded.

While JVC has noted that some details of the audio systems are bound to changes, they are sure that this product will first hit in Japan.
