The battle between iPhone and Android is getting hotter and tougher. Just like any other battles, both of the two opponents is going to have the agenda to outlast, outwit and outface each other. Well, this is pretty normal.
But for the Android users, they are not contented to see those iPhone users enjoy the application of Skype in their device.
So, Android responds to this discontentment by bringing the latest version of Skype app in Android Market.
The Skype for Android phones now comes with video and unlimited Skype to Skype video calls and instant messaging. Lately, there are two available Skype updates found in Android Market, those are Skype mobile on Verizon and Skype for Au that support Android 3G smartphones.
What’s good in this app is that aside from the fact that this is all free to download, the apps have new user experience with support for SMS.
This has two way video calling for selected handsets like: Google Nexus S, HTC Desire S, Sony Ericsson Xperia neo and Sony Ericsson Xperia pro.
Moreover, the Skype application has access to the account, location, network communication and personal information that can go well along with you.
However, there is another side of this free app. First is that Google Nexus S 4G is excluded in the US.
Secondly, there are terms of permissions that you must have to deal like services that will cost you money. Well, we have to remember that although the app is free, the service of Skype is not free.
