Meet the Archos G9 Tablet Series:

Earlier reports have told us that the market will soon be dominated with tablet products, as the glorious time of netbooks is nearing an end. Well, whether or not netbook manufacturers will agree on these predictions, it seems like the rumors are becoming true.
Recently, the 3G Android powered tablets were revealed by Archos. Within three years of tablet experience, we have seen that Archose G9 tablets are so far the best and most powerful tablets in the industry. The G9 tablet series are powered by Android 3.1, the ‘Honeycomb’.
This platform is purposely made for Android tablets to maximize your media experience wherever you are and whatever you do. The platform is Google’s suite of Android applications, this explains why it works in greater format support and enhanced interface.
Moreover, this G9 Series features the ultra-fast OMAP4 dual-core processors at 1.5 GHz. These are also 3G ready devices with patented 3G stick solution of Archos. These also include the Flash and Hard drive models with up to 25oGB storage.
Apparently, two of these G9 series were name as the Archos 80 G9 and the Archos 101 G9. The 80 G9 model features an 8-in screen with 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, while the other model has 10.1″ screen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, which is slightly larger than the first one.
Both of these tablets are expected to come at the US by the end of September after it will be shown at the IFA Conference in Germany. These tablets have respective prices at $279 and $349
