Sharp Electronics Corporation is on top among the most energy efficient product designs. Just this year, after receiving the 2010 Energy Star Award (Excellence in Energy Efficient Product Design) on April 12, Sharp is eager and now ready to enter the tough competition in the market with their unique and one of the kind electronic products and solutions. One of their front liner is PN-V601.
As posted on their company site, Sharp claimed PN-V601 as the World’s slimmest bezel with its 60-inch Class diagonal screen size with 6.5 mm multi-screen displays that is convertible as digital signage solution. Moreover, PN-V601 has a general resolution of 1366 x 768, but when used in a 3×3 video wall display, this provides over 4000 x 2000 total resolutions for ultra-high resolution and ultra-high impact images.
Add to that is the ASV LCD technology that enables the viewer to view deep and bright pure colors with brightness that is up to 700cd/m2 and contrast ratio of 2400:1 in portrait or landscape operation. PN-V601 is also stepping outside the conventional CCFL backlighting with its full array LED backlight. The positioning of the LED gives the effect of uniform brightness. The LED elements are positioned across the entire panel directly behind the liquid crystal layers so that uniform brightness is achieved.
This LCD monitor is compatible with SDSS or Sharp Digital Signage Software. Also, it passed the ENERGY STAR qualification in energy efficiency. Amazingly, it consumes only 1.8W in standard standby mode, while in standby low power mode it only consumes 0.5W. Its general energy consumption is 480W with power source of 100-240V AC, 50/60 Hz.
Lastly, PN-V601 is perfect for unlimited video wall commercial applications with 3-year on-site warranty for only $13,695.00(MSRP).
