Here is how to turn off iPad New Email Sound In iOS 4.3.

You might have encountered countless problems of the noise your iPad 4.3 is producing when new emails come in. However, with the new added controls in iOS 4.3 you can now control and turn off the email sound. Here is how to control the email sound:

1. Tap on Settings > Sounds
2. Under Ringers and Alerts tap the “Change with buttons” to turn this “On”
3. Then it should read, “The volume of the ringer and alerts can be adjusted using the volume buttons”.

Another way to control email sound is by scrolling down the “new email sound” and turning it OFF. Surely, with these new controls you won’t be bothered at all by used to be uncontrollable noise of your iPad.
