Thunderbolt Sets Record For HTC!

Vision paired with the right strategy and open innovation will result to success. This formula has taken the High Tech Computer (HTC) Corporation into its momentum. Undeniably, the tight competition in the business arena has loosened its grip on HTC as it is now harvesting the sweetest fruits of its labor through Thunderbolt.
This Taiwanese based manufacturer has seen its fortunes with the news that its smartphones like the Thunderbolt has achieved record sales. It was reported that Thunderbolt has outsold the Verizon iphone 4 last month. Add to that, based from their record of market capitalization, HTC has already surpassed Nokia making it the
worlds’ third largest cell phone company.
According to an article by Chris Smith from TechRadar, HTC saw first quarter profits for 2011 were up a staggering 191 percent, with net income of $513 million. The company estimated that it would sell 8.5 million devices during the first quarter, which is more than double of the last year’s figure. Sales of Android handsets and the company’s move into 4G connectivity with handsets such as the EVO 4G has also contributed to their soaring fortunes.
With that celebration, HTC seem to be pursuing more of its fortunes by taking another venture into the tablet market with its upcoming Flyer device. The company has the same prediction with the upcoming device.
Well, this sounds promising from a company who only a few years ago was spending its time making Windows 6 handsets, but has now seen a sharp rise.
