Mame-Cam DX and the Mame-Cam SLR are thumbnail sized miniature digital cameras from Japan. Thanko, the Japanese company who brought these diminutive devices shows us the impressive specs of these devices.
For Mame-Cam DX, it has a weight of 14 grams, a size of 1.8 × 1.1 × 0.4 inches (45 × 29 × 10 mm) and 8-megapixel that can shoot jpgs of up to 3264 × 2448p resolution. It also can record HD-video at 30fps with a resolution of 1280 × 960p. The camera uses microSD/SDHC cards and connects via USB 2.0 and it can also be used as a voice recorder.
On the other hand, Mame-Cam SLR comes with a weight of 11 grams and a size of 1.2 × 1.1 × 1.1 inches (30 × 27 × 27 mm). It also has a 2-megapixel device can shoot jpgs of up to 1600×1200p resolution and a video that can record HD video up to 30fps with a resolution of 640×480p
