About Nintendo 3DS Sales…
Being a child is the most enjoyable and care free part of our lives. We do nothing but just lavish every happy moments that we could count. Those happy moments include gaming. Ever since we enter the 21st century, video gaming has become one of the important marks of change in this generation.
The top most popular gaming consoles for the past years are Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo. However, we are going to tackle the trend for the past months released of Nintendo 3Ds in the market.
According to Adam Rosenberg from Digital Trends, March was a really good month for Nintendo in the US. This is for the reason that the company has managed to shift 460,000 DS units, and 290,000 of its Wii console which brought the hardware a total 1.1 million for the month. The 3DS fell short of the 500,000 that the DS achieved in its first week of release in 2004, but the DS was launched during the holiday season and at a time when there was more money around. The Nintendo Wii was also launched around the same time of year.
However, this result was dumped with the people’s criticisms. Aside from the people, their competitors are also throwing comments against them. But the company has claimed that whatever other people may think about the 3DS, to sell 400,000 units in one week under the current financial market is already a great achievement.
The challenge for Nintendo now is to develop a better lineup of 3D titles to launch. If they can manage to meet this expectation, then probably more of the recent figures will be sold.
