iMovie: The iMovie app allows large-screen multi-touch editing of HD videos. It supports multiple audio tracks and three new themes: Neon, Simple and CNN Report. You can add a microUSB compatible boom mic and a stand for the iPad and iMovie’s automatic face detection. The videos that will be created can be sent via email, MMS or MobileMe, Apple TV or export them to your mac/PC. It is supported by iTunes so you can shoot video on your iPhone 4 then edit and upload it via iPad 2.
GarageBand 2: This app allows the user to use iPad 2 as a drum set, keyboard, synthesizer or guitar. You can also record real instruments on your iPad 2 and mix up to eight tracks in the recording studio. You’ll even be able to mix and match real instruments and touch instruments.
iBooks: The iPad 2 has a dual-core processor that handles searching for in-text terms on Wikipedia or renders much better animated books. This is also a light weight device that will be comfortable for bedroom reading. That’s why with this unique device, the iBook app is perfect for it.

PhotoBooth: This app is finally available on iPad 2. It allows you to snap quick headshots and then edit or warp them to your pleasure. By applying a simple effects pane, you can create eight versions of your picture.
FaceTime for iPad: This app allows you to add the name of your friends who own iPhone 4 or 5 to your favorites list and you’ll be able to video call them with the click of a single button. You can also switch between the front and rear-facing cameras during a call.
