The Samsung Smart TV is making its way again to the top. As we all know, Samsung, the maker of this consumer electronics from Korea is always pushing the boundaries and now they try to come up with the next big thing. And this “next big thing” is the so called Smart TV, described as an oversized iPhone. But this oversized iPhone is not created only for an individual to enjoy. Nonetheless, the thrust of Samsung for creating this product is for the home to enjoy and experience its modern way of serving an entertainment.
As an overview, the Samsung Smart TV works like an iPhone as you cannot only look for Samsung apps, but also search for TV shows, movies and surf the net. So far, it has around 300 apps available. Also, you gain access to media rich content from the likes of Netflix or Blockbuster, Hulu Plus, and you can get much closer to all the latest sports action via ESPN. Add to that, for those of you who use or have used Netscape 5.0, then you will be familiar with the web browser on Smart TV. You will also be pleased to know that you can view Flash to give you that full web browsing experience.
Another feature that excites us the most is how you can be watching a TV show. Although this feature is not announced to be one of the basic features, some have claimed that it would be great to add to Smart TVs collection.
The Samsung Smart TV is yet new in the line, but we can hope that this will do well in the next few years.
