Facebook Will Do Search, so Be Afraid, Google! That is a rumor that have spread across the internet, and is what the experts are thinking will happen somewhere down the line.

Recently, a screenshot of what appears to be web-search box at the top of a Facebook page has raised speculations that Facebook will going to do search. It was initially suggested that it is part of a beta test of a new search feature.
Although Facebook denied these allegations, some people can’t get away with the certainty that Facebook will do search, and that’s something that Google may ponder upon. Last fall, Facebook did a deal with Microsoft to add results from its network to the Bing search engine and Blekko search engine startups that include results based on Facebook likes and other activity.
On the other hand, Google has made launching of social and real time search earlier this year that includes a pull in of Twitter results. But, it was clear that what’s happening in social networking sites is irrelevant in search engines. So, regardless of Google’s interest in utilizing the social contents, Facebook has far more advantage than Google. The bunch of clicks, uploads and “likes” from facebook are something that Google has to seriously work hard because it is obvious that they are far behind the Facebook’s better position.
