Amazon now lets you play with an android virtual machine, so that you acutally can try apps and then decide if you want to buy them.
Amazon Test Drive is giving the user a chance to take apps and test it on their smartphones. It gives the comfort of their tried and true web browser that provides the cloud computing with Android virtual machine. According to Amazon, with just a click on the “Test Drive Now” button the inputs will be simulated on your phone and these inputs will be sent over the internet to the app running on the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2).
Then, their servers will serve the output from the app back to the user’s computer in real time that allows you to browse the apps as if it were running on your device.
Although this may seem less significant right now, Amazon’s intent is purely for selling apps nothing more and nothing less.
