Even though HP hasn’t given any official release date or price tag for the 9.7 inch tablet yet, Amazon.com has put an official image on it’s website with a short text that reads “Sign up to be notified when this item becomes available.”
Unfortunately details about availability and pricing are not available on Amazon.com and you will be notified when it’s available for pre-order if you sign up for e-mail notification.
Meanwhile a Video of early Prototype HP tablet has been spotted on Vietnamese tech site Tinh te and shows tablet’s front, back, and sides… including a SIM card slot.
Amazon has added two accessories to the listing – a Bluetooth keyboard and a matching stand. The HP TouchPad features a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen display, a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and up to 32GB of storage. It supports 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, and has a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It runs the webOS 3.0 operating system.
The version appeared on Amazon.com is WiFi only model and expects 3G and 4G to be available as well. For now check out the video below and feel free to comment on it.
