Xtreamer Prodigy Media Streamer Coming Next Week – Overview

Xtreamer have followed up on the recent release of their Xtreamer Ultra HTPC retailing for $100 with a new media player and streamer, the Xtreamer Prodigy.

The upcoming Prodigy maintains quality with the Realtek 1185 engine at its heart, and it has a slew of features and connectivity options up its sleeve. In addition to the usual connectivity options of internal/external HDD docking, HDMI, Wi-Fi, RJ45 LAN, component, composite, and SPDIF, the Xtreamer Prodigy also packs in compatibility with USB 3.0 on a system with 256MB onboard RAM and 512MB NAND flash storage for a smooth GUI experience. This brings us to the best part of the Prodigy – the Adobe Flash GUI, which brings a rich and seamless user interface experience that includes a web browser.

It also supports Apples Airplay feature an intuitive graphical Flash interface with Adobe Flash GUI, with added support for Mediafly, Google Talk, Last FM, Pandora and Facebook, to name a few. The release details Xtreamer Prodigy should be out in the next week, but we know that it will retail for Euro 119 on release.
