SmartQ unveiled its new Android Tablet packing IPS display with piezoelectric touchscreen at MWC 2011, dubbed SmartQ Ten has brought out a new 9.7-inch tablet with some very interesting touchscreen technology. What really sells the Ten is its piezoelectric touchscreen, which supports multitouch input even with non-conductive objects. The LCD panel used for the Ten tablet will use In Plane Switching (IPS) technology, which offers great picture quality.
SmartQ Ten running on Android 2.2 Froyo features Cortex-A9 core processor, GPU graphics chip for the Mali 400, the display is the same and 9.7-inch IPS iPad hard screen resolution up to 1024 x 768 as well as 512MB RAM and 8GB of Flash storage.
Other features to be included include a G-sensor, ambient light sensor, GPS module, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
