RunCore Unveils Pro IV USB 3.0 Express Card SSD

RunCore has launched a new product Pro IV USB 3.0 Express Card SSD for laptops. It is a device which comprises of a drive and a USB 3.0 hub. It can be connected to both Express Card/34 slot and USB 3.0 port.

The SSD has 64 GB storage, 110 MB/S reading speed and 80 MB/S writing speed. Apart from it the Express card slot provides two USB 3.0 ports. It can be used as external SSD also.

It has an Intelligent Block Management and Wear Leveling and Intelligent ‘Recycling’ for advanced free space management for reliability and stability. Therefore it is very useful for the laptop users, who have got express card slot in their laps. They can use it when they don’t have enough storage in their laptop to do anymore.

There is no official word from the company regarding the price and availability of Pro IV USB 3.0 so far.
