The alternative for paper has been arrived, thanks to NoteSlate. It has been designed to replace paper as note-taking device. It’s a device which can be used with pencil and eraser with a one colour display.
The NoteSlate features with a 13 E-Ink display with a resolution of 750×1080 pixels, which can be used for writing and drawing. The slate has a mini USB port,SD card reader, a 3.5 mm audio jack and WiFi connectivity. The slate runs on Linux based OS.
The NoteSlate has been designed with main three buttons; save current screen, view previous screen, delete current screen. NotesLate tablet product family consists from 5 different color types of NoteSlate device. The slate is designed with low-technology. The main advantages of this device are low power consumption, solar accessories, and passive mode for displaying static pages with around 70000 pages capacity on 4GB card.
