Motorola XOOM Tablet reportedly to be launched on February 24 via Best Buy, According to phonearena.com, they got informed from a reliable source that Best Buy is preparing to launch on February 24 and presales will start on February 20.
Meanwhile CEO of Motorola Mobility revealed that Motorola XOOM is to cost $799 and denied the rumors that claimed the tablet would cost more than $1000. If you want to be among the first five people ordering the Motorola XOOM, a $50 deposit will help you get one reserved, which is kind of important as each store will be allocated only 5 units at launch, although you don’t have to worry too much about that, as more units will be ready to ship at any time.
Carphone Warehouse and Best Buy will be launching Motorola XOOM with combined 3G and Wi-Fi capabilities, while Currys and PC World will launch the Wi-Fi only model in the second quarter of 2011.
Along with Tablets launch, other accessories for Tablet such as Bluetooth keyboard, docks and cases will also be launched. Motorola XOOM is the first Android Tablet to be coming with Tablet only version Android Honeycomb.
