Medias N-04C NEC Casio Mobile( “thinnest smartphone in the world”) will be sold by the largest Japanese operator NTT DoCoMo. Medias has a thickness of only 7.7 mm, compared Glaxy S II is 8.49 mm. Dimensions are 127 x 62 x 7.7 mm. The device has a 4-inch LCD display with 480 x 854 pixels covered by Gorilla Glass and weighs just 105 grams (4 weighs 137g iPhone.) The device runs on Android 2.2, version 2.3 will be available in the summer.
Medias have a camera with a resolution of 5.1 Mpix miniature 1seg digital TV tuner and Near Field Communication technology. MicroSDHC card reader supports cards up to 32GB, but this phone is equipped with a 800 MHz processor, GPS navigation, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and HSUPA.
Elegant camera will be available in black and white. Since mid-March smartphone will be available only in the operator DoCoMo in Japan, but not given its price. It is not known whether the Medias will be available outside Japan.
