Do Europeans need a further version of a Tablet? LG believes so, so the Company has unveiled it new Optimus Pad Tablet which is really cousin of LG G-Slate. The device was announced at MWC 2011 in Barcelona.
The new tablet is running on none other than Android Honeycomb, and powered with NVIDIA’s 1GHz Tegra 2 processor. The tablet is comfortable with its size, The Tablet features 8.9-inch capacitive touch-screen display with a resolution of 1280 x 768, whereas Motorola XOOM and Galaxy Tab version 2 is 10.1. The Optimus Pad has 5MP camera on the rear side which will let you capture 3D videos as well as Full HD 1080p videos.
Surely needs a glass to watch 3D movies. 3D video can be watched by either using glasses (most probably anaglyph ones) on the tablet’s screen or by streaming the signal via HDMI 1.4 to a compatible 3D TV or monitor that also needs a Glass. Other features are 3G, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and an HDMI Port.
The tablet will be shipping in March, According to engadget the price of the tablet in Germany has been revealed. It will cost €999 including 19% VAT, in dollar it is about $1,350. Are you shocked of the US price in dollar? Don’t worry that won’t be the case when it comes to US. Anyway check out the video below before you skip.
