HTC Finally unveiled its most anticipated Tablet HTC Flyer at MWC 2011, so this is an another tablet coming to the Tablet war. HTC Flyer Tablet is coming with Aluminum body and at a look it looks great.
The Tablet features 7 inch Display with 1024 x 600 resolution with a new 3D home-screen, 5 MP camera on the back paired with a 1.3 megapixel imager up front, 1GB of RAM plus 32GB of flash storage, an aluminum unibody construction.
Powered with 1.5GHz single-core CPU is running on Android 2.4 Version of Gingerbread, unfortunately not Android Honeycomb as HTC hasn’t got much time to customize code to integrate with HTC Sense UI. HTC is also debuting its new Scribe Technology, allowing users to write onto the tablet using a pen accessory. This makes it easy for users to put thoughts into e-ink; drawing pictures, taking notes or adding to a webpage or photo.
Other features include Bluetooth 3.0, HSPA+ connectivity, a MicroSD Slot that supports up to 32 GB and a 4,000 mAh battery and a custom microUSB port that ensures not only backward compatibility with regular accessories but HTC’s new high-power charger. Battery life is tipped at a whopping 820 to 1470 hours of standby – that’s over 61 days – while video playback is up to four hours.The Flyer will come with the stylus – that has two buttons, by default mapped to erase and text-select – and a pouch case with a loop for the pen itself. There’ll also be a range of accessories, including a second case that can turn into a stand, a desktop dock, and a Bluetooth keyboard for easier text entry.
HTC Flyer will also have access to cloud-based OnLive gaming that will also let you play on TV via wireless connectivity as well as on Tablet.
The tablet’s pricing is anot available yet, According to HTC the Tablet will be launched in Q2 2011. there is video below first hands-on, check it out before you leave.
