The Japanese electronics manufacturer Fujitsu is all set to show off their “world’s first truly wireless display” in the CeBIT 2011 event this week. The new monitor will be functioning on different wireless technologies.
The magneto-induction technology would help the monitors to work in specially designed hotspots by just placing the monitor on it. The inductive chargers can make it bigger and increase the energy output so that it can fit the base of monitor and power it at the same time.
The wireless USB technology is used to acquire data to show on the screen by monitors, which has a range of 10 meters.
There has been no news about the price or availability of monitors in the market. It is expected to boom the desktops again.Source
