Dell to launch Windows 7 Tablet “Rosemount”; more details emerge

Codenamed Rosemount a new rumored tablet from Dell, the new anticipated tablet’s more details are coming out. The tablet is according to reports will be running on Window 7.

And tablet is intended for Business and will be powered with Intel’s Oak Trail Atom processor, come with a removable battery. It will also feature a number of enterprise features, including support for stylus input as well as touch, software encryption, and the ability to do a remote wipe. The Tablet will be an 10 inch one and expected to be released in June.

Between the noise of Android Tablets, Windows 7 tablets is being branded as Business oriented, which isn’t necessarily a terrible thing for Microsoft given how glutted the consumer space will be with Android tablets, the BlackBerry PlayBook, HP TouchPad, and a likely new iPad.
