Call of Duty: Black Ops the first ever DLC hits Xbox 360, and The Call of Duty: Black Ops First Strike Map Pack is now available to download exclusively on Xbox 360.
Call of Duty: Black Ops – First Strike: contains 5 incredibly diverse maps spanning the globe; featuring 4 multiplayer maps and a new Zombie experience. Includes “Berlin Wall” allowing combat on both sides of the imposing wall, the Arctic “Discovery,” Hong Kong‘s “Kowloon,” the sports complex “Stadium,” and the new Zombies level “Ascension.” The map pack is exactly what it’s titled. It contains a multiplayer expansion of four maps which can be used across a variety of gametypes.
Microsoft mouthpiece Major Nelson sent out a clarification last night that reads: “First Strike map pack will be available after 9a ET/6aPT/1400 GMT. It may show up earlier but… The First Strike Pack is tied to the language of your Call of Duty:Black Ops Disc.”
So, for all the users ensure that the language on your pack is “English”, in case your disc comes with the same language. While it might seem a minor point, the First Strike Map Pack in a different language will not work. It is expected to be be available for PS3 next month.
