AT&T’s Mobile to Any Mobile unlimited Calls Plan begins today

ATT Plan

Wanna call across the country? Then, here is exciting offer from AT&T for you starting today, AT&T customers on a qualifying Nation or Family Talk plan that sign up for unlimited messaging, will be able to make unlimited calls to any mobile number regardless of carrier. Calls made under this plan do not count toward your Anytime Minutes.

Existing AT&T customers with an unlimited messaging plan can activate their Mobile to Mobile service by heading over to www.att.com/anymobile. On top of the basic mobile bill, unlimited messaging costs $20 per month for individual accounts and $30 on a family plan for most AT&T customers.

“Mobile to Any Mobile is an exciting offer that will keep our customers connected to the people they want to talk to, when they want to talk to them, without the hassle of watching minutes,” said David Christopher, chief marketing officer, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “We’re giving customers more options and even better value. And when you include Rollover Minutes, a benefit available exclusively from AT&T that lets customers keep their unused minutes for all domestic calls, including to landline numbers, it’s clear that AT&T offers the most flexibility in the industry.”

However, if you’re on an unlimited calling plan, you might want to think about moving to a cheaper plan. AT&T’s individual unlimited minutes calling plan costs $70 a month. Their 450 minute plan costs $40. If you talk for fewer than 450 minutes a month to people on landlines, then you can shave up to $30 off your monthly bill by dropping from unlimited minutes to 450 minutes. Will you grab this offer?

A little late to the party ATT – I mean there are so many companies out there that are already offering something like this or are strictly unlimited use plans for far less. You still have to have a plan with them to add this and I can say honestly, as a past ATT customer, that the whole roll-over mintue thing doesn’t make a difference – especially when now you have unlimited add on option. Its things like this that made me switch over to a prepaid company (Straight Talk to be exact) since its a flat, one price deal for unlimited service on all fronts and without add-ons since you pay for the service ahead of time. I calculated I would have spent, with this add on, nealy $90 and I have the same type of service minus the roll over for $45 – I think ATT needs to re-evaluate price rather than just options.
