Here is the Asus Eee Pad MeMO and it’s sibling MeMic, it’s very interesting to meet the updated Tablet though the MeMO was introduced at CES on last January, Engadget made a hands-on with new updated features of Asus Eee Pad MeMO tablet.
THe tablet finally confirmed to be running on Android Honeycomb by the time it’s launched in June, currently it’s running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, interestingly ASUS will also bundle a small handset along with the Tablet Eee Pad MeMO, you might be thinking why?!, it’s really irritating if we get a call on Tablet and to attend the call with giant tablet. so dubbed MeMic (pronounced Me-mike) is rally useful for people who don’t want to answer call on Tablet andMeMike is a Bluetooth enable Handset so you can connect the tablet via Bluetooth tha makes it a userfriendly.
the MeMic features a translucent LCD, in addition to making calls the MeMic will also let you control media, stream audio and perform a few other basic tasks that make sense for a tablet remote. On the Honeycomb side, According to ASUS the delay is simple– as it stands, a commercial-grade Honeycomb port doesn’t exist for Qualcomm hardware, which is what the Eee Pad MeMO is running (the Xoom — the only released Honeycomb tablet so far — is running Tegra 2). The company’s confident that it’ll be ready by the time the MeMO’s slated for release in June.
