The Taiwanese computing giant Acer has revealed the specifications of the tablet Acer Iconia Tab W500. The tablet was announced early in this year during the MWC 2011. The Acer Iconia Tab W500 will be released later this year.
The key specifications are interesting. The tablet is extremely lightweight, weighing less than a kilogram. It has also a 10-inch multi-touch display, which is looking very attractive. The tablet would be running on windows Home premium. It’s got a high-end CPU and GPU. This processing power is backed by 2 GBs of RAM and has UMTS and a docking station. It would be available for 599 Euros.
The main drawbacks are observed by the expert are a few. It has low battery life and can get pretty heavy when docking station is attached to it. Therefore it’s not so useful for the long travelers.Source
