The Motorola Xoom Tablet, which was crowned the best gadget at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, is to hit the market soon. The official word has come out for the Best Buy. The consumers can pre-order for the Best Buy on 17th February for a price of $ 1,199. The Xoom Tablet powered by “Honeycomb” a newly software from Google. Apart from this Xoom was also honored as the best of the scores of tablets introduced as fresh competitor in a market dominated by Apple iPads.
Motorola Mobility Inc.’s Xoom tablet is with a 10.1- inch screen and two cameras. The front-facing 2MP camera is meant for video chatting and the other 5MP one for high-definition videos. The Xoom has a 1280×800 touchscreen display, which has adaptive backlighting and 3D graphics acceleration, as well as HDMI-out. It features a variety of sensors, including a gyroscope, a magnetometer, an accelerometer and a barometer. The Motorola Xoom supports up to 1080p video playback and Adobe Flash.
