Verizon’s Motorola DROID Pro gets an Update

Verizon has released an update for Motorola DROID Pro, update doesn’t mean Froyo to Gingerbread. Instead, it has made some functional enhancement with new version known as 2.26.60.XT610.

The update improves the audio on voice calls, and also improves the device’s overall stability and performance. It should now prepend the 011 country code to SMS messges, the Global Mode will not reset when connecting a USB charger, Visual Voice Mail will now detects when Airplane Mode is selected when WiFi is active, and will show the display at full brightness after wake-up.
