Verizon branded iPhone has been rumored, on the go; Verizon is conducting a Media event on January 11.
The topic of the event is unknown, but speculation of course centers around a possible introduction of the iPhone on the carrier, although most observers have been expecting that such an introduction would be made at an Apple media event given the company’s penchant for secrecy.
Verizon President Lowell McAdam is to host the event, which gives it just enough weight, but we wonder if Steve Jobs would drop by as well? We really doubt it that Apple’s CEO would miss the introduction of the CDMA iPhone, if such happens. Anyway, at least there’s not much time until we find what this is all about.
A report claims that evidence is pointing to a February 3rd launch date for a major new Apple product, presumed to be the Verizon iPhone. Given Apple’s history of product releases, an official introduction would be expected in the very near future in order to meet that launch date.
Verizon already announced a bunch of 4G LTE Smartphone at CES 2011, but Verizon branded iPhone is still a dream for customers of Verizon who also like iPhone 4.
