The phones can be used to solve it by taking the image of the puzzle with its camera. The android software can recognize the numbers which are already in the puzzle box and the phone can calculate the missing digits. Hope all the Sudoku fans will fancy their chance play more puzzles.
Google has been coming up with many similar types software. The Google 1.3 version can read the advertisements in US magazines and newspapers and rectify the appropriate websites.
