The speculations and expectations are over. The report of that HTC would launch Facebook phones at next month’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The social network giant said that it had no plans to launch official branded phone with HTC soon.
The head of business development at Facebook, Mr. DAN Rose said that, “This is really just another example of a manufacturer who has taken our public APIs (application programming interfaces) and integrated them into their device in an interesting way,”
The company spoke said that the company agrees that they are working across the entire mobile industry with operators, hardware manufactures and app developers to bring Facebook to mobile phones in a variety of unique and exciting ways.
Meanwhile an HTC spokesman refused to confirm or deny reports that it was working on a Facebook-branded or themed phone. The confirmation news from Facebook must have disappointed the millions of Facebook fans who were eagerly waiting for the branded Facebook phone.
