XBLA “Games for the Holidays” Gets Dated: Keflings, Raskulls and ilomilo

Microsoft Game Studios presents “Games for the Holidays,” a line-up of three Xbox LIVE Arcade games coming this holiday season: which will be headlined by A World of Keflings. The sequel to A Kingdom for Keflings will launch on December 22, for $10. This will start the “Games for the Holidays” promotion, which also includes Raskulls and ilomilo.

Now what makes Games For The Holidays unique is that there is no discount on these games, no rebate if you buy all three. Instead, if you own and an unlock an achievement in one game, it unlocks exclusive content in the other two titles. I will let Steve Taylor, creator of A World of Keflings and President of Ninjabee explain: “If you buy Raskulls or ilomilo you can build homes for characters from those games in A World of Keflings. Then those characters live in your game world and you can kick them around with the rest of your Keflings. At the same time, if you own A World of Keflings you can choose to have a Kefling as your playable character in Raskulls or dress up ilo and milo in swanky Kefling costumes.”.

Together, these three games inspire creativity, competition, and collaboration and feature vibrant art styles, dynamic storylines, and unique gameplay for gamers of any level. Purchasers of A World of Keflings will also be allowed to buy Raskulls and ilomilo before they officially go on sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Each of the games allows you to buy any of the others from within the game interface. If you want to buy them separately, you’ll need to wait until Raskulls is released on December 29 and ilomilo on January 5.
