SuperTalent is so confident in their speeds that they have teamed up with Ceedo, to provide Ceedo Personal at a reduced cost.
There’s no reason that a USB 3.0 device can’t be quick enough to serve up an app, though most apps get finicky if you try to run them from removable storage on more than one computer. The Ceedo Personal application allows the user to install any Windows applications onto the portable drive, and these applications can then be used on any compatible Windows PC, saving all the unique settings that user is accustomed to, and you’ll feel right at home, with your own apps/preferences intact.
USB 3.0 Express RAM CACHE and it’s now available in a 16GB version, the drives start at $59 for 16GB then go up to $119 for 32GB and $209 for the 64GB model, but if you want the Ceedo bundles you’ll need to pay $20 more for each. That is, at least, half what the software costs on its own.
