The Motorola Droid X users now can finally get their devices updated to the Android 2.3.340 version, after endless trials, complaints, confusions and untimely releases.
It remedies some bugs (for example, the handset remains locked after long key presses and the “Force Close” camera error is a thing of the past), improves some existing features (for example Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync) and adds a few more goodies – like pre-loaded Flash Player 10.1, EA’s Madden NFL and some new MyVerizon apps.
Just a quick word of warning for those who don’t have a PDF reader installed – despite Verizon’s endorsement of Adobe Reader in that screenshot, I recommend using Foxit reader which is MUCH more secure and also free.
