As if the recent announcement of the dual-core, Tegra 2 monster LG Optimus 2X (Star) wasn’t enough, information about another piece of desirable hardware from LG has leaked, named LG B. The latter has the specs to be called the thinnest and brighest smartphone although LG has not yet started production of the phone, which offers a 4 inch IPS LCD screen.
When compared to the iPhone 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S, the screen of the LG B comes across as very intense. It seems to pack one impressively vivid screen. In fact, the LG B supposedly offers 700 nits of brightness, while the Galaxy S only offers 300 nits.
While the Apple iPhone is called “the thinnest smartphone on the market” by Apple, that line will have to be crossed out when the LG B is launched. The pictures below show how the LG handset beats out Apple’s device.
LG later confirmed the device via a tweet, and explained that the “super slim & super bright” Android handset would make an appearance at CES in early January next year.
